We swing into the 60s with a crash course in Dalmatians 101, in the midst of discussion of 101 Dalmatians (1961). Eliana Birhah joins to offer insight into the realism of the dogs portrayed, the uniqueness of Cruella as a modern female villain, and just how catchy that one song is. As well, Rehana dives into the reasons Walt Disney didn't like this film, and all the reasons that she does.

Join Andrew and Brandon as they travel back to November 1996, but first they finish their discussion about No Time to Die and then they talk about the upcoming And Just Like That, the Sex and the City revival as well as the Nash Bridges revival. After the break, Andrew wants to talk about the actor from Monk that was Buffalo Bill. Brandon moves on to remembering his green Tamagotchi then the Star Trek; Deep Space 9 episode where they went back to the Original Series episode The Trouble with Tribbles. Brandon also tries to sell Andrew on Star Trek: First Contact. Brandon then complains about the new Space Jam while Andrew remembers what was good(?) about the original. Finally they end rifling about the live action 101 Dalmatians.

In this week's episode, resident commentator Annabel deconstructs the first half of Disney's newest live action prequel 'Cruella' starring Academy Award winner Emma Stone in the titular role. Acting as an origin story for 101 Dalmatians' notorious villain Cruella de Vil, the movie follows recently orphaned Estella's journey from street urchin to assistant fashion designer working underneath haute couture icon the Baroness (portrayed by the equally iconic Emma Thompson). However, this rags to riches story quickly turns sour when Estella discovers that the Baroness is less of a mentor and more of a vindictive tormentor directly responsible for the death of her mother. Will this vengeful tale jam packed with a duo of Oscar winning Emmas, cold blooded murder and aggressive monochrome be a combination worthy of high praise? Stream the review now to find out.
