    Ein Schwabe ersteigert ein insolventes Hotel am Neuen Jungfernstieg - und ahnt nicht, dass es einmal das berühmteste Grandhotel Deutschlands sein wird. 125. Geburtstag feiert das Vier Jahreszeiten in diesem Monat. Im Gespräch mit Matthias Lorenz-Meyer erzählt MOPO-Chefreporter Olaf Wunder von Theo Lingen, Sophia Loren, Bud Spencer und Aristoteles Onassis und den anderen berühmten Menschen, die dort schon logierten - und von ihren Eskapaden.

    Flera nya verk på scen och film handlar om Andrées misslyckade polarexpedition 1897 och kärlekshistorien mellan den yngste deltagaren, fysikern och fotografen Nils Strindberg och Anna Charlier.

    Vad är det som gör att vi aldrig kan släppa Andrées polarexpedition 1897? Om tre män i en luftballong som skulle komma först till Nordpolen, men störtade på ett isflak och omkom efter tre månaders vandring på drivisen.

    Deras kvarlevor återfanns på Vitön 1930, 33 år efter att de försvann. Alltsedan dess har detkommit böcker, utställningar, film och pjäser. Numera är det inte bara de tre männens öden som intresserar, utan även kärlekshistorien mellan den yngste expeditionsmedlemmen Nils Strindberg och hans fästmö Anna.

    P1 Kultur har pratat med fyra kulturarbetare om deras besatthet av berättelsen; skådespelaren Maria Pontén, manusförfattaren och regissören Jonas Österberg Nilsson, scenografen och regissören Sabine Theunissen och filmmanusförfattaren Ida Kjellin.
