Leslie is joined by Nicole Sandler, a radio veteran who has come full circle! From talk radio to music and back to talk again.

They discuss why not allowing the TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership) to be fully debated or amended by 'fast-tracking' it is a big mistake. They also discuss why they believe that both President Obama and the Republicans in Congress are wrong for supporting the TPP since they believe it's a bad deal for America and for American workers.

Nicole Sandler launched her blog and podcast at www.RadioOrNot.com in 2008, and began guest hosting on the Air America network. The fill-in stints turned into a nightly late night show, which lasted for the final year of AAR’s existence.

When Air America Radio went under, Nicole moved the show online to Radio or Not, where she continues today.

Leslie is re-joined by International President of the United Steelworkers Union (USW), Leo Gerard. They discussed Scott Walker's recent right-to-work legislation and a USW backed oil refinery strike/bargaining.

President Gerard believes that despite the growing disparity in income and wealth, Republicans like Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker look to further squeeze working Americans. Right-to-work legislation lowers income for workers and harms collective bargaining efforts by forbidding corporations and unions from negotiating contracts.

They discuss how if this is what Walker is doing as Governor of Wisconsin, what would it be like if he was President?

Leslie and Leo went on to briefly discuss the USW Oil Workers' Strike, where a work stoppage had been launched at major oil refineries around the U.S. until safer working conditions were agreed upon.

Since March 12th, a tentative agreement has been reached. President Gerard says that the new agreement will set a precedent for the rest of the oil industry.

Leslie is joined by Steve Garey, President of United Steelworkers local 12-591 in Mount Vernon, Washington. He’s currently on strike with co-workers at the Tesoro refinery in Anacortes, Washington.

They discuss the over 3,800 United Steelworkers at more than nine oil-industry sites—sites that account for 10 percent of the United States’ oil-refining capacity—whom are on strike in the largest such labor action since 1980.

Leslie is joined by Dan Wells, President of Airline Professionals Association Teamsters Local 1224. They discuss the news that Pilots at Allegiant Air, represented by the Airline Professionals Association (APA) Teamsters Local 1224, voted overwhelmingly, 465-8, to authorize a strike against Allegiant Air.
