Because of Christ, we say Amen to God in our prayers to show that God gets the glory for the future grace we are counting on.

In order to live the radical lives Christ calls us to live, we must embrace him as the only one who can truly satisfy our souls.

Prayer is the confident plea for God to make good on his promises of future grace — for Christ’s sake.

Pastor David Walt concludes the series on the letters written to seven churches found in the beginning of the book of Revelation (last book in the New Covenant). The author of each letter is Jesus. The seventh letter is to the church in Laodicea, a very wealthy city. The leaders thought they were rich and needed nothing. Jesus, however, calls them "lukewarm".
