Hip Hop started out at the park.... Yes, August 11, 1973 Hip-Hop was born, at a birthday party in the west Bronx, New York City. The location of that birthplace was 1520 Sedgwick Avenue, and the man who presided over that historic party was the birthday girl’s brother, Clive Campbell—better known as DJ Kool Herc, founding father of hip hop.

So, with Hip-Hop turning 50 we wanted to celebrate sharing our perspective how Hip-hop and sports have grown up together. We flash back to talk cultural significance in sports, fashion, TV and memorable events in the marriage of sports and hip-hop. Tap in.... celebrate hip hop turning 50th!
