To do that they'll need to topple last year's reigning Cy Young winner in Sandy Alcantara, but all things considered? I'd say things are looking mighty fine in Atlanta right now, with the promise of even better days to come.

The Braves may have lost game 3, but that can't dampen my spirits after AA locked up Michael Harris for the next 8-10 years and we got to see a return to the mound for one Michael Soroka. Max Fried comes off the concussion IL and we get the premier pitching matchup in baseball tonight as the Braves look to win the series against the Mets and cut the division lead to 3.5 games.

The Braves just cannot be stopped as they push their winning streak to an even dozen games. The offense was exceptional, the homers are falling left and right, and (almost) everything is coming up Braves. Now with Ozzie on the shelf for a while with a fractured foot, the Braves look to keep the run going behind Max Fried as they continue their march towards 1st place
