Rohit Shetty - Bollywood, South Cinema & Discipline | The Ranveer Show हिंदी 127
Drishyam 2 howls louder than Bhediya
The big screen saw 2 much awaited releases last month and in this episode, Antariksh and Snayhil talk about them at length. Drishyam 2, a sequel to the 2015 hit Drishyam, released on the 19th of November and has taken the box office by storm. Both the movies are a remake of South Indian movies, that go by the same name. Seeing Bollywood actively remaking movies, makes us question their dependency on South Indian cinema. The second movie that we talk about in this episode is the Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer Bhediya. The movie released on the 25th of November and has been receiving mixed reviews from the public. Box Office collection has been fairly good in number but we believe it's yet to pick up pace.

Episode 41: RRR (2022) - with Josh Hurtado
Rajamouli's newest movie is more than 3 hours long. Can't recall the last time I watched a film that long and walked out of the cinemas wishing it was longer. Loved it.
Film critic Josh Hurtado joins us for a deep dive of RRR as we try to unpack the film's goodness, Rajamouli's arc, and the film's traction outside India. We chatted about our favorite moments from the film, the magnetic charisma of Ram Charan and Tarak, the ridiculous action set pieces, the stunning sound design and how all the VFX/CG wizardry feels nicely wrapped around the film's emotional core.
Josh also shared his take on why he believes that Rajamouli, truly feels like the only candidate for an Indian filmmaker on the verge of an international breakout.
