Episode 22: The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996)
Shane Black made a little Hollywood history with his script for this movie even it’s not entirely the one he delivered. One element certainly not in dispute is the relationship between Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson is the rarefied platonic dynamic that the hosts seek out. Could even a brief shift alter the nature of their friendship or does it signal growth under temptation? Is this one of Jackson’s most entertaining performances? Just how bad is Craig Bierko as the villain? What is the line that will forever make Morgan and Erik lose it? All these questions plus action tropes and a good time on this episode.
03x22 - Resurrection
This is the one where we race to the end of the season with a fast paced, action packed emotional episode. This is also the one where Cole (@coledelbyck) is back to gush about the season 3 finale with Bree (@bleach226) and Jess (@jesspkoehler), with a few delightful tangents along the way.

03x21 - Legacy
This is the one where Sloane has Nadia and almost everyone else is actively looking for Sloane and Nadia (except Vaughn, Vaughn is somewhat unwilling participant as he'd prefer they were looking for Lauren). Katya is back, Suit & Glasses is back (and gets a name, Dr. Zhang Lee), and Bree (@bleach226) and Jess (@jesspkoehler) are still really confused on the timeline around Vaughn's dad and Nadia's automatic drawing response.

S3E19: Hourglass
This is the one where EVERYONE knows that Lauren's a mole. Vaughn goes on a mission at Lauren's mom's house and Lauren's mom suspects that Vaughn knows about Lauren. S3E17: The Frame
This is the one where it turns out Lauren's mom (played by Peggy Lipton) is ALSO Covenant and she kills Senator Daddy. This is also the one where Vaughn says he's going to leave Lauren, Bomani returns to our story, and the one where we get a very Indiana Jones tale about archaelogists looking for a Rambaldi artifact. This is also the one where Jess (@jesspkoehler) and Bree (@bleach226) go on a little tangent about Alias-adjacent television we're currently watching.
MUSIC: If you're streaming and want to line up the scenes with the original feature songs, here are the sound clips.

S3E15: Facade
This is the one where the CIA intercepts a bomb maker seeking to work with The Covenant... which leads to Vaughn and Sark being on a plane with a bomb (to quote Marshall, "omg omg omg omg omg!") and SpyDaddy kills a man and brings him back to life in order to get him to cooperate. This is also the one where Bree (@bleach226) does a deep dive on The Troubles in Northern Ireland and on eight-letter synonyms for arrogant and makes Jess (@jesspkoehler) play along.

S3E14: Blowback
This is the one where we watch the episode twice. It's also the one where Sark and Lauren are bad (but hot), Sloane is manipulative (what else is new), and Bree (@bleach226) and Jess (@jesspkoehler) decide that Shining Sword is a much better name for a themed pub than for a potential terrorist organization.
MUSIC: If you're streaming and want to line up the scenes with the original feature songs, here are the sound clips.

Vaughn and Weiss play pool (start 8:40): Play Johnny Lee Schell's Panhandle Stomp starting the song at 00:00. This song seems to match the DVD.
Sydney and Jack have dinner (start right after credits at 12:32): Play Jonny Lang's Give Me Up Again, starting the song at 00:14.
Sydney and Weiss go on a mission to Athens (start right after Athens title at 17:10): Play The Crystal Method's Starting Over starting the song at about 00:16.
An extra note on the music this episode, Uncovering Alias and TuneFind both report the pool scene and dinner music reversed, so we reported song changes from streaming with both. Upon realizing this and listening back to back for timestamps, it seems it is the same song on the DVD as streaming. While it's not 100% clear what song it is, there are no lyrics and it seems to be Panhandle Stomp. The song during the dinner scene is very clear it's Give Me Up Again which is changed in streaming.
