Paul also emphasizes believers' identity as new creations in Christ, called to spread the message of reconciliation as God's ambassadors.

Moving to 2 Corinthians 6, Paul addresses the hardships he and his fellow workers face as ministers of God. He highlights the need for believers to live in a manner that demonstrates their faith, endurance, and purity amidst challenges. Paul appeals for unity and separation from non-believers, urging a commitment to God's holiness.

In 2 Corinthians 7, Paul expresses joy and comfort in the Corinthians' response to his previous letter, seeing their repentance and renewal. He shares his struggles and encouragement amid afflictions, mentioning the comfort he found in Titus' arrival and the Corinthians' reception of his message.

2 Corinthians 8 focuses on generosity and giving. Paul highlights the Macedonian churches' example of sacrificial giving despite their poverty. He encourages the Corinthians to excel in the grace of giving, urging them to complete their earlier commitment to help the needy believers in Jerusalem.

Lastly, in 2 Corinthians 9, Paul continues discussing giving and the blessings it brings. He emphasizes the principle of sowing and reaping, encouraging cheerful and purposeful giving. Paul assures them that God blesses those who give generously and praises the Corinthians' willingness to contribute to the needs of others.

The phrase, "in earth as it is in heaven," came directly after "thy kingdom come, thy will be done," so although we're focusing on "in earth as it is in heaven, as with the rest of the prayer, we recognise that it's not a standalone phrase and so we discuss it in context.
