A Gentle Invitation for Mothers, God is Waking You Up to the Life You Really Want with Anjuli Paschal
How have you filled in these blanks?
“Someday” when I don’t have to ___________, then I will _________.
Like me, you might need more blanks!
Having finally reached my "someday," while I'm enjoying the things I've been looking forward to, I often think back on those days when I was doing all of those things I'd wished away and wish I had taken time to enjoy them.
As a young mother, I seemed to be navigating my life one task at a time. I daydreamed about a life I believed would be more fulfilling instead of being awake and in the moment.
During this episode, Anjuli Paschall describes what it's like to feel the underlying anxiety that you are missing out on the good life, to zone out, to swipe up, to be slimming down, to be working harder, and to spin in circles with the anxiety of not living life to the fullest.
That was something Anjuli wanted to change! Knowing she loved people fearlessly and walked with God faithfully.
In addition, she wants to believe that she is loved and even liked.
Anjuli is going to tell us how she discovered that the full life isn’t found by chasing it. It’s found by coming awake to it, and she wants you to live a soul-awake life too!
King Jesus Awaken My Soul; Psalm 118; Palm Sunday

The Evolution of Entertainment: Woke V. Awake | About GEORGE With Gene Ho Ep. 72
Wake Up!
Awake oh sleeper!! I believe that is the word the Lord wants me to share. He brought me this word in a dream, I feel I must disclose, I am not "schooled". but, I don't think that's who God is looking for, I also believe that's why He chose to give me that dream. He is awakening something in me, a boldness to proclaim His goodness, and His mercy, and His return.
Here's the deal, everyone will have to stand before God when we die.and in a sense, He will be coming back sooner than not for some over others, but I also believe He is coming back in the global "Biblical" sense. I am so honored that He would choose me, and speak such a word to me, I feel it would be dishonoring if I didn't share it.
I love you guys and I hope this hits you the way it did me. "Awake oh sleeper". in Jesus name!

Transcend Your Personal Self
Meditating smarter rather than harder requires that we take a closer look at the personal self, which obscures our true Self. We are so closely identified with our day-to-day sense of self that we rarely give consideration to its origins, limitations, or the possibility that it’s only a fraction of our possibilities, a fragment of who we are.
Understanding how our personal identity develops, its content, and false promises can help us reach beyond it to the totality of our being. This Podcast, in dialogue and practice, will demonstrate how to move beyond the personal self to discover the full possibilities of meditation and human flourishing. We will discover the totality of consciousness that lies beyond the limitations and restrictions of a personal self.

Homily - Thursday of the Twenty-First Week in Ordinary Time - August 25, 2022
Deacon Ryan first proclaims the Gospel for the Thursday of the Twenty First Week in Ordinary Time, from Matthew 24:42-51.
Deacon Ryan then describes an incident from his career as a paramedic, where he fell asleep in the most inopportune of times. He then describes how in the Gospel, we are called to "stay awake". After 2000 years of waiting on our Lord, it's hard to stay awake. But what we do is important, and the time to be on guard is now.

INSIGHTS 012 // JANA RUSH - Chicago, Footwork and the Creative Process
In this episode of INSIGHTS, we have the honour of being joined by Jana Rush! Her most recent two records, 2021’s ‘Painful Enlightenment’ and this year’s ‘Dark Humour’, on the legendary label, Planet Mu, have seen her not only push the boundaries of her own sound but of footwork as a whole. It’s safe to say then that we were thrilled to speak to this visionary producer, Chicago O.G. and one of our favourite artists.
Over the course of this interview, Jana discusses her early years and getting into music at a young age via radio, the Chicago scene in the 90’s, meeting and working alongside legends such as Gant-Man, DJ Rashad, DJ Deeon, & Paul Johnson and how the scene compares today. We then discuss her albums, ‘Painful Enlightenment’ & ‘Dark Humour’, going in depth on Jana’s approach to production, sampling and pushing the boundaries of the footwork genre. Jana then shares highlights from her recent EU tour and her approach to performing live, before rounding up some of her favourite artists and inspirations, finishing with a peek into what the future holds for her!

Revealing Your True Self
Welcome to our fourth session of The Practice of Direct Awakening. The practices we’ve already explored bring us towards the first aim of meditation – cultivating a healthy human life. In this session we begin our exploration of the second aim of meditation – the direct experience of our true self. We begin by focusing on the differences between our usual day-to-day “ego-I,” our personal self, and our “unchanging true self.”
