    Episode 32 - Drive Angry

    Episode 32 - Drive Angry

This week, we're taking on a request to look at 2011's Drive Angry, starring Nicolas Cage and some other people! Was he able to Drive Angrily enough to save this granddaughter? Were we aware that this movie was meant to be shot in 3D? Does the DC Universe mean "direct current?" Find out in this week's episode!

Twisted Pair (2018) - The Fifth Horseman of The Breenpocalypse - Episode 267

Twisted Pair (2018) - The Fifth Horseman of The Breenpocalypse - Episode 267

"Please God make it stop.."  Those words were inside our heads the entire time that we watched this week's movie, Twisted Pair.  A movie by our favorite cultivator of cinematic crap, Neil Breen.  And boy oh boy, this one was bad.  Never did we think that we would long for the days of tuna, laptops, and magic rocks...but leave it to everyone's favorite god, alien, humanoid, cyborg-jesus; we started to miss the old day's of Breen.  Instead what we were left with was a bizarre green screen hellscape that then splits it's time with an abandonded community college in Nevada.

Special thanks to Wikipedia, as there would have been NO WAY that we would be able to parse a plot out of this film without the plot summary.

    Hellraiser Revelations (2022) - Movie Review - Episode 248

    Hellraiser Revelations (2022) - Movie Review - Episode 248

This week, Brian and John open the box and venture to the world of The Hellraiser Franchise.  Now while we will eventually get to Hulu's Hellraiser Remake, we felt it was necessary to look at the absolute worst moment in the franchise.  We are of course talking about 2011's Hellraiser Revelations.  This movie is on a whole other level of bad; and we aren't just saying that cause it features "Fat/Wish.com/Great Value Pinhead".  This movie was one in a series of copyright grabs by everyone's favorite creep, Harvey Weinstein and Dimension Films in an effort to retain the rights for profit.   Fair warning...This particular episode of The Cinema Psychos Show is a bit extra explicit.  So if you like our episodes where we are a bit more on the vulgar humor side, this one is for you.

The B-Movie Cast has finally done it. We’ve gone down the road less traveled… and we did it on roller skates. So, put on your best leisure suit, get out your roller skates and get ready for the film that dared to ask the question “Can Gene Kelly roller skate?” as we check out the infamous disc fever dream that is- “Xandadu”!

Rarified Heir Podcast Episode #84 : Dr. Tara Candoli Encore (Pete Candoli & Vicky Lane)

Rarified Heir Podcast Episode #84 : Dr. Tara Candoli Encore (Pete Candoli & Vicky Lane)

Today on the Rarified Heir Podcast Encore Edition we are talking to Dr. Tara Candoli whose father/Musician Pete Candoli who also happened to be our host Josh Mills’ step-father. Which also means, that Josh’s mum was Tara’s step-mother. Tara’s mother, actress Vicky Lane is famous for her portrayal of The Ape Woman in the film, The Jungle Captive & who also had a recording career.

As if this wasn’t confusing enough, Tara’s other step-mother was actress/singer Betty Hutton. Not enough of a showbiz connection? We talk about her grandfather Kemp Niver who won a special Oscar for the preservation of the earliest silent films, actor Tom Neal whose explosive temperament led to scandal & even murder and that’s just the beginning. We talk about Tara’s professional career as a trauma therapist, making mud pies with Rock Hudson as a toddler, hitting recording and taping sessions with her dad, her wild days as a teenager in seventies LA, iconic makeup men who worked on her mom’s films and much more. It's all right here, right now, on the Rarified Heir Podcast. Everyone has a story.
