    The ABCs Of Salvation:
    A.  ADMIT THAT YOU’RE A SINNER. This is where that godly sorrow leads to genuine repentance for sinning against the righteous God and there is a change of heart, we change our mind and God changes our hearts and regenerates us from the inside out.

    B.  BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR YOUR SINS, WAS BURIED, AND THAT GOD RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD. Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried, and that God raised Jesus from the dead. This is trusting with all of your heart that Jesus Christ is who he said he was.

    C.  CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD. This is trusting with all of your heart that Jesus Christ is who he said he was. Every single person who ever lived since Adam will bend their knee and confess with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings.

    Changelings and Last Words

    Changelings and Last Words

Oh boy, if this weeks episode seems a little off to you it is because Alissa believes that Britt has been swapped with a changeling and is diligently working on cracking the case - and eggs, to return your dear podcast host to you by next week.

At first, everything seems perfectly normal, Alissa kicks off the episode with a listener response to her hot take that Princess Mononoke and movies of the like are the film version of melatonin. The listener reveals a helpful tip that will undoubtedly make not just movies, but all of life more enjoyable.

Then Britt (or rather Brittabus, the changeling posing as Britt) recounts the horrific tale of Bridget Cleary, an Irish woman accused of being a changeling. Her husband, Michael Cleary, went to extreme and gruesome measures to return rid himself of this changeling fairy in hopes that his beloved wife would return. Brittabus goes on to detail the decidely undelightful history of changelings and the role of myth and monsters in coping with life's unpleasantries.

Alissa then promises to lift the mood with some last words of the dying, but, perhaps unsurprisingly, fails to do so. Inspired by the last moments of comedian Sam Kinison, who is rumored to have spoken to God as he lay dying on a desert highway, she relays eye-witness accounts of those who were present for some memorable last moments.

Brittabus  once again takes a swing at dragging this episode from the pits of despair with the tale of an Irish Banshee. But upon reflection, realizes that it may not have a banshee that two wee Irish lasses stumbled upon in the woods that day.

And, then, as an inspirational send-off,  the ladies urge you to meditate upon the last words you will utter upon this green earth.

So, enjoy and, Haunt Y’all Later.

    Mini Mythologies: Banshees & Mistletoe

    Mini Mythologies: Banshees & Mistletoe

Gather round for our last mini myth of this season, Banshees & Mistletoe!
Listen as Erin and Meghan talk about the legends of Banshees and how one of them predicted the death of the assassinated King James I of Scotland, plus did you know that mistletoe is actually a parasite?!? We also talk about a connection Meghan found between Lydia Martin and Gnarls Barkley's hit "Crazy", and we have to thank Pliny the Elder this time around for recording an ancient Druids ritual of the cutting of mistletoe to help with infertility. Don't worry, Pliny doesn't get off that easy, we later find out he thought carrying mistletoe in your pocket would help cure seizures.  This was a very silly and fun episode to record, additionally this episode is very special because our own mythology expert edited this masterpiece!

S3 E9: The Girl Who Knew Too Much

S3 E9: The Girl Who Knew Too Much

This week on The Nemeton Podcast, Meghan, Erin, and Avalon break down one of Meghan's favorite episodes, The Girl Who Knew Too Much.
We talk about how Scott is now determined to find a weakness in Deucalion's pack, and he starts with Ethan. When a deputy is murdered at the school, we find out that the BH police dept. is bringing in back up to take down the murder. Allison enlists Isaac to help her figure out if her father is the Darach, when they find another clue spelling out all of the categories of victims Allison is nervous about her fathers involvement yet again. Stiles feels the pressure to tell his Dad what really is going on in Beacon Hills, but what he didn't realize was that his Dad is incapable of believing in what is actually going on. When Lydia is at the sight of yet another sacrifice being taken, we find out that the new pattern is philosophers, which also means teachers, teachers who are on their way to a recital at the school, planned to honor all of the losses. With all of the teachers in one building Scott is determined to find the Darach, but it's actually Lydia who finds herself face to face with this dark druid.

    Ep 74 A Castle's Secret

This personalized short scary story was written for my very own sister, Tina, who you may remember from my first few episodes and my first few bonus episodes for my Patreon members.  This story is a doozy and may end up with a part two some day....

    Irish Lore

    Irish Lore

In honor of SkeleTales ranking on the podcasting charts in Ireland, this week’s episode is dedicated to telling haunted tales from the Emerald Isle and absolutely butchering the Gaelic language in the process.

Britt delves into a tale of a headless horseman who was either a thief, a jealous lover of the victim of a pre-meditated murder who was tragically decapitated and cursed to ride his horse for eternity. She then takes you to the haunted  Ballyboley Forest where druids are said to roam the woods and where the veil to the underworld is thinned.

Alissa manages to tear herself away from the topics of jugs and decapitations long enough to explain the lore of the Banshee and convey a couple of first person encounters with the shrieking spirit. She also tells the tale of the White Lady of Kinsale a spooky ghost who likes to eat toast.
