El presidente del Gobierno, Pedro Sánchez, ha nombrado nuevo ministro de Economía a Carlos Cuerpo. Asume así la cartera que deja Nadia Calviño, que este 1 de enero asumirá la presidencia del Banco Europeo de Inversiones. Junto a este relevo, el presidente ha anunciado otros “ajustes en las atribuciones dentro del Gobierno”. Para empezar, el ascenso de María Jesús Montero de la vicepresidenta cuarta a la primera. De este modo, Montero deja las competencias de Función Pública. José Luis Escrivá asumirá, así, una nueva responsabilidad en su Ministerio de Transformación Digital, la de Función Pública.

El vicesecretario de Coordinación Autonómica y Local del Partido Popular, Elías Bendodo, ha criticado el nombramiento de María Jesús Montero como vicepresidenta primera en sustitución de Calviño. Para Bendodo se trata de una “pésima noticia” porque es sinónimo dice, de más impuestos”.

Y seguimos con más choques en el Gobierno. El Ministerio de Igualdad ha defendido este viernes el nombramiento de Isabel García como directora del Instituto de las Mujeres tras las acusaciones de transfobia y las críticas de Sumar y Podemos. Además, ha destacado su trabajo en defensa de los derechos de las personas LGTBI.

En materia económica, el IPC baja una décima en diciembre. Los precios subieron en diciembre un 3,1%, una décima menos que en noviembre, debido a la estabilidad de los precios de los alimentos y bebidas no alcohólicas, y la evolución de la electricidad.

En la crónica internacional, decenas de palestinos han muerto en las últimas horas en Gaza por continuos bombardeos israelíes en varios puntos de la Franja, sobre todo la zona centro y sur. Y si nos vamos a Ucrania, al menos 12 muertos en una masiva oleada de ataques rusos.

En lo que afecta a nuestros bolsillos, la luz sigue a la baja y cae este sábado un 34% hasta situarse en los 68,41 euros el megavatio hora.

Pedro Sánchez, propondrá crear una comisión de trabajo al líder de la oposición, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, para abordar la renovación del CGPJ, la nueva financiación autonómica y la reforma del artículo 49 de la Constitución. Por otro lado, el pleno del Congreso de la próxima semana afronta el debate sobre la toma de consideración de la ley de amnistía, votación que el PP reclama realizar por llamamiento.

Mientras tanto, el Gobierno da por hecha la salida de Calviño hacia el BEI y Bruselas ve "factible" que los países logren un acuerdo sobre reglas fiscales.  También fuera de nuestras fronteras, Ucrania aún confía en recibir suficientes armas en 2023.

De vuelta a España, Sanidad convoca a las CCAA a un Consejo Interterritorial. En clave económica conocemos que la subida salarial media pactada en convenio colectivo hasta noviembre fue de prácticamente el 3,5 %.
