Episode 155: Itovania Month: A Smashed Harmony of Dissonance

This week on A Horror Console, Chris and Karradyne give updates on Lore Olympus and Assassin's Creed Mirage. Karradyne feels a little unsure of herself when she reads Junji Ito's Smashed, and Chris whips vampire bosses in the face when he plays Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance. The duo begin Gimme the Gorbage with a taste test and partake in a meal from Jack's.

Frank Shields joins other tennis stars on the courts, while Vincent Astor and his yacht Nourmahal focus on seafaring activities. Dr. Liz Elzer, a surgeon at our Saratoga practice, has had a varied career. Farrier, economist, and surgeon are a few titles that can describe Dr. Elzer.  Taking a leadership role in the growth of the practice, Dr. Elzer describes the ways that the practice has grown and expanded in recent years. From the addition of a second surgeon, Dr. Shannon Hinton, and two internists, Dr. Lindsey Rings and Dr. Sarah Thomas, to the incorporation of the new diagnostic modalities of fluoroscopy, CT Scan, and the future arrival of the PET scan, the practice continues to evolve.

    Inside Running Ep39 21-5-22

    Inside Running Ep39 21-5-22

Once again it is a bumper nine event card of metropolitan racing at Belmont Park on Saturday. There are no true features on the day however the $100k SKY Racing Provincial Championship Final will create plenty of interest with a capacity line up of 16 runners likely to front up to the starter. Speed Dream looks a very shaky favourite having drawn very wide. Power of St George will have admirers, but he does have his quirks. Dark Assault won the race last year. Bourbon Beau and Rocky Path will have admirers at big odds. It will be a thrilling race. Earlier in the day favourites like Rev It Up, Hardly Ever and Alsephina look very hard to beat. Galactic Storm, mid-card looks well suited with the addition of winkers. Why not tune into TABradio at 8am Saturday morning for inside Running, featuring Darren McAullay, Scott Embry and Digby Beacham as they try to find the winners throughout the day.

    78. Why Pop-Punk NEEDS to invade Country Music

The All Punked Up Podcast is back! There’s no doubt been a resurgence of pop-punk. And that resurgence has brought us a new wave sound of the genre we all know and love. But for the last few months, Tyler and Bailey have had many conversations off-mic about the state of pop-punk, where it’s at now, and where it should go. So where should it go? It should invade country music. Hear them out. They think they will convince you.

    Ep 81: Ian Fitchuk

    Ep 81: Ian Fitchuk

Calling in from LA, Chris meets up on Zoom this week with 2x Grammy award-winner Ian Fitchuk! Ian’s what you’d call a triple threat - a boundary-pushing writer, producer and multi-instrumentalist. You might recognize him as one of the minds behind Kacey Musgraves’ critically acclaimed album, “Golden Hour”, alongside our S4 alum Daniel Tashian; but Ian’s career stretches far beyond this. He moves flawlessly through a genre-bending range of artists, from mainstream country and Americana acts like Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris, to left of center pop and indie sensations such as LANY, MUNA and Phoebe Bridgers. Jump in for Chris and Ian's musings on everything from why having fun is one of the most important ingredients in art, to how moments of perceived failure have turned out to be integral to success. Thanks for listening!
