As we examine the scene, the contrast between the arrogant and sinful king and the humble and godly criminal becomes apparent. Paul's willingness to be humiliated for the sake of the Gospel, his confidence in the power of the gospel, and his hope and joy that cannot be stolen are wonderful examples for us.
