Winter is coming. I don't like it any more than you do.

If I get home and it's nice out I go on a quick motorcycle ride because I know this s*** is about over.

Are you ready? Are you ready mentally, physically, financially?

I know I'm not haha. Sure, I can pay the power bill but I don't have to like it.

I'm not ready to put the motorcycle to bed.

What choice do I have?

Ain't nothing like it my friends. Around the age of 10 when you can leave on your bicycle and pedal down the street and you have the whole town as your little plethora of entertainment.

My friends the 70s were epic. Now add a mini bike to that.

Now add a few friends that also had Mini bikes. I relived that yesterday.

One of my friends from 50 years ago stopped by and guess what he was still on the mini bike haha. It was epic.

Yesterday was a perfect day. It's rare you get to say that about a work day.

Technology makes the best of the best but it also makes the worst of the worst.

Technology will spoon feed you whatever you want to think is real. Don't subscribe to it.

My friends put down your phone and go for a motorcycle ride already. My friends get out of your house and look around and see what's real in front of you.

Technology or I guess I should call it mainstream technology has this ability to always villainize people with a different mindset than yours. Don't buy it.

Some people are happy to see fall come into season.

Some people enjoy seeing it snow and the pretty blanket of snow on the ground.

There are those of us that would like to punch them people in the mouth. Ha ha

We are all wired different. Some of us need to be around crowds and some of us need to be the hell away from them. There is no wrong answer my friends.

We can at least talk about it though.

I see a lot of pop-up clubs with young men in them. Good for you guys.

I see a lot of gray beards that prefer to ride solo. Good for you guys.

We all wired different. Over the years the way you think of things and stuff and stuff and things is going to change. You aren't the first one.

Welcome to the world of greybeards. Maybe I can explain why the gray beards tend to leave the clubs that have a lot of young members.

Are you on your forever bike? Are you just getting started?

Are you going to let a last minute major purchase in your life cause you to have to work into your retirement years?

I have asked the question on Facebook many times. Would you rather have an old car to Tinker with in your driveway at home or do you want a brand new car sitting in the parking lot at work?

I think you'd be surprised how many more years you can squeeze out of a 10-year-old truck than a brand new truck if the brand new truck has to drive to work everyday and the 10-year-old truck just sits at home with you because you're retired.

I would rather ride a 10-year-old motorcycle under my ass then have a brand new motorcycle just sitting in the parking lot at work while I work into my retirement years.

Can you afford a new motorcycle? Can you afford to not get one? Has the current job situation raised your wage?

Do you really have more disposable income? Are you ready for the federal government to raise the prime interest rate? What is this going to do to the cost of a new motorcycle?

Even more important I thought I already looked as stupid as I could possibly look but now I have new glasses. Do these glasses make my butt look big?

Driving to work some of us turn off on the off-ramp that has the hardest job. Driving to work some of us turn off at the off-ramp that has the most comfortable job. There's no wrong answer bro only different results.

Some of us do all that extra work for extra things and stuff. Some of us do the extra work because we want freedom as fast as possible. Some of us have easier jobs for a slightly easier life and the trade-off is we may never get freedom.

There is no wrong answer. We all wired different.

In our life there are so many things and stuff and stuff and things that we keep spending money on that have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with freedom.

My friends as you get older and get tired of going to work you're not going to wake up one morning and say I wish I had cinemax.

If you are drowning and you can't get to the surface to breathe you are not going to be wishing for a camper.

Them old biker movies got a lot of stuff right. Them old biker movies had freedom on tap.

Back in the day them old biker movies really made me want to go out and play motorcycles with my friends.

All the hard work. All the pain. All the bills. All the repairs. Is it worth it? Why do we do it?

There are phenomenal resources available that can teach you how to manage money. They are phenomenal resources available that can teach you how to change your spark plugs or put air in a tire or many of them very difficult mechanical tasks.

If you already are set financially consider this podcast satire and fun. Bro if you are struggling from paycheck to paycheck some of this s*** might hit home a little bit. Consider it tough love.

Also consider it a wake-up notice that people are indeed noticing all of your begging on facebook.

Can you behave yourself when you are unsupervised? I suck at it. Haha

When I'm unsupervised I go where I want and say what I want and do what I want. For the most part though that probably cost less money.

Speaking of unsupervised though I'm seeing a lot of little businesses around here that don't even have an employee to supervise. I hope all these people that left the workforce are living their best lives.

Is covid the cause? Did they leave the workforce to stay home with their kids? Why does Taco Bell have such a long goddamn line? We need answers people!

We are slowly but surely entering into a season that will start depressing some of us.

More important than any of that silliness though bro I want freedom. I want freedom. I want freedom.

In Ohio we have about a month of just perfect Nirvana weather. Not too hot not too cold just perfect. What a great time to bust out some gear and go for a ride.

It's a little bit warm to walk around and all that gear in a festival. Guess what you get there and you shed some layers.

In the evening when it's getting dark and you arrive home what a fantastic time to appreciate shelter.

They quit when they are done. Are you done? Or, are you just tired? Are you tired of being in the cage? Are you tired of working for the man? Are you thinking of quitting?

Don't quit just because you are tired of your employer. Don't quit until you are done with your employer.

The same goes with life. Sure when you get home from work and start mowing your yard you're already tired. A half mowed yard is going to look like s*** though ain't it.
