    161 - Barbarian (2022) Review

    161 - Barbarian (2022) Review

In Barbarian, a young woman realizes her AirBnb is double-booked and the house isn't what it seems.

In what is most likely our favorite movie of 2022, Barbarian offers an original story that kept us on the edge of our seats. It features an excellent cast of Georgina Campbell, Bill Skarsgard, Justin Long, and Richard Brake. This film changes up its tone mid-movie upon a horrifying discovery and adds an additional story that merges very well into the main plot. It adds depth where needed, it's uncomfortable, and has some really scary moments. Watch the movie and catch our review.

    IT: Chapter One (2017)

    IT: Chapter One (2017)

We've always been a part of the Losers' Club - and getting to revisit IT: Chapter One (2017) proved once again why it was a new, instant classic! From Bill Skarsgard buzz and Stephen King eccentricities to the absolute NEED for a group of kids in the 80s solving mysteries - IT delivers on atmosphere and heart all around. Do the Pennywise dance with us and float with us under the bed (NOT the sewer...) as we cover the first part of this haunting and beloved duology!

    BARBARIAN (2022)

    BARBARIAN (2022)

"Who is the monster and who is the man?" Hunchback of Notre Dame asked, and Barbarian (2022) further explores (and answers) the question. We would very much like to NOT go down and explore these ideas in the darkest depths of an underground basement-catacomb-cave-of-sorts, but WE WILL! we'd do most anything for Bill Skarsgaard and Justin Long, let's be so serious right now. Join us under the bed (and in the basement, underground...) for Barbarian!

    Episode 53 | Barbarian (2022)

    Episode 53 | Barbarian (2022)

🍼 Making our way through some of last year's new releases that we missed, this week we will be descending into the depths of Barbarian. Join us for a very contentious debate as we argue the merits and missteps of this hugely popular, yet somewhat divisive horror hit. We'll talk about everything from the troubles the filmmaker, Zach Cregger, encountered while trying to get this project off the ground, the spectacular performances and cinematography, and of course as always, we'll choose which character we think was most deserving to die.
