Part 1 of our interview with Canadian drummer Shane Gaalaas. He talks about growing up a KISS fan, opening up for an unknown band from Seattle, his big break drumming for Yngwie Malmsteen, Toque and a lot more, including being nominated for a Grammy Award this year. He's an amazing talent, currently based in L.A. and it was a blast having him on the show. Check it out!

Welcome to Beer Rum & Rock N Roll. A rock music podcast with Beau Shiminsky and Randy Legault. Keeping rock alive - one conversation at a time.

Randy Legault is a serious motherfucker when it comes to rock music, owns a video editing company 'Legault Post' and enjoys Beer. He's a good boy, crazy 'bout Elvis. Loves Zeppelin and his lovely wife too. A true defender of the faith with a serious arsenal of knowledge that is fun tapping into.

Beau Shiminsky came out of the womb kicking and screaming and naturally the music bug hit early. By 14 he started a punk band and has turned it to 11 ever since. The love of music lead to a career in Scoring Films and Audio Post-Production at his Studio 'Ear Candy'.
Comfortably numb with a rum and a whole lotta love for Rock N Roll.

Episode 116: - Bill and Ted Face The Music & The Binge
Proverbial 80's washouts Bill and Ted return to theaters (kind of) in 'Bill & Ted Face the Music', a new sequel to the time-traveling films that helped to launch the career of Keanu Reeves. Then, Vince Vaughn flexes his comedy chops in Hulu's 'The Binge', a modern teen-comedy take on the The Purge when all drugs and alcohol are legal for one night every year. Also, Wonder Woman got pushed back to Christmas, The Oscars are floundering, and what's happening with Neve Campbell?

Episode 202: Dueling Ogres Face the Music

Much like Bill and Ted Face the Music, the ogres finally return for another glorious episode!

A few corrections: Samara Weaving is NOT Hugo Weaving's daughter, but niece. Remington is an idiot. He also mispronounced "Dororo," because he, as established, is an idiot. Also, don't let them talk to you (the listener) that way! Leave comments and buy merch (link below, advertising, amiright?) so you can prove them wrong!

'Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure' and 'Bogus Journey' (feat. Chris Scalzo)

'Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure' and 'Bogus Journey' (feat. Chris Scalzo)

After nearly three decades away from their breakthrough roles, Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter return for Bill and Ted Face the Music. Having previously covered Reeves' The Matrix and John Wick, there's no way we were going to pass up this most triumphant opportunity to pull off a Keanu hat trick.

With the help of Chris Scalzo of The First Run podcast, we travel all the way back to 1989 to discuss Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Then, before heading out of the Circuits of Time, we stop off at 1991's Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey. Finally, we'll talk about what we hope to get out of the Wyld Stallyns' long-awaited third adventure.

So be excellent to each other, party on, and get ready a trip to Hell and back with Bill, Ted, and the Crooked Table Podcast. In closing... San Dimas High School football rules! Station!

    SYNOPSIS

Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure: Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves) are high school buddies starting a band. However, they are about to fail their history class, which means Ted would be sent to military school. They receive help from Rufus (George Carlin), a traveler from a future where their band is the foundation for a perfect society. With the use of Rufus' time machine, Bill and Ted travel to various points in history, returning with important figures to help them complete their final history presentation.

Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey: Amiable slackers Bill (Winter) and Ted (Reeves) are once again roped into a fantastical adventure. De Nomolos (Joss Ackland), a villain from the future, sends evil robot duplicates of the two lads to terminate and replace them. The robot doubles actually succeed in killing Bill and Ted, but the two are determined to escape the afterlife, challenging the Grim Reaper (William Sadler) to a series of games in order to return to the land of the living.

This week, your most triumphant podcast dudes, Brian and John, undertake a most excellent and definitely non heinous review of one of our own guilty pleasure films. We are of course talking about the time travelling duo Bill & Ted and their first outing "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure." A movie that finally is getting it's long awaited third sequel, "Bill & Ted Face The Music" and introduced us to such concepts as having a crush on your step mom who was a senior when you were a freshmen, So-crates, and the fact that once you've flunked out of summer school a time travelling phone booth just might be the only way you pass your history report. So grab your air guitar and reach out and touch someone as we surf the circuits of time in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure!
