Kelley Hunter Ph.D., is an internationally-known Astrologer, based in Vermont. Her work is informed by mythology, psycho- spirituality, creative arts, holistic and consciousness studies, as well as 1001 nights of stargazing in the Caribbean.

In this episode Steph shares her experience with Sound baths - a meditative experience where those in attendance are “bathed” in sound waves. These waves are produced by various sources, including healing instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, percussion, chimes, rattles, tuning forks, and even the human voice itself. . She discusses her details of her “baths” in Singapore and Australia, including how sound baths were a bonding experience during her pregnancy with Arthur and helped comfort her after his passing. Some potential benefits mentioned are that the sounds and vibrations can help with blocked energy and different parts of the body.

Ep 29. The Rejected Feminine/Decolonization | This week’s episode begins a little differently. Because last week’s episode got lost, Cory spends the very beginning of this episode backtracking over some of last week's astrology that's still humming pretty loudly this week. 

The current lunation cycle that we are in is very unsettling, but Cory reminds us that though unsettling there’s also great opportunity, if handled with care. Last week’s Cancer New Moon was powerful & challenged by Jupiter in Aries. The new moon was also conjunct Black Moon LIlith. Black Moon Lilith represents a point in space where the moon is farthest from earth and is associated with the darker, or shadow side of Cancer. Cory then shares more about the myths associated with Lilith & the story's resemblance to the feminine uprising of today. 

Last week warrior Planet Mars also made a conjunction with dwarf planet Eris (in Aries) and then aspected Pluto, serving as a trigger. In last week’s episode Cory described this as: “the volcanic eruption”. Eris, the goddess of discord has been locked in a square with Pluto, Lord of the underworld for about two years. Cory then shares the mythology of Eris as she was also recently activated. 

The “big astrology” for the week ahead isn’t all that “big” comparatively speaking. This week we have some inter-planet shifts including Mar’s ingress into earth sign Taurus, and Mercury moving into water sign Cancer. This is a more palpable change of pace and represents a slow down before the astrology of weeks to come. This is a time to “rest (Taurus) and digest (Cancer)”. 

During the second half of the show Cory is joined by Abigail Kirby Conklin. Abby is a writer, advocate, performer & education professional currently based in Ontario. Abby is currently doing graduate work in decolonial and anti-racsit education. Cory speaks with Abby about how her chart is incredibly representative of the moment and how Abby is the “poster child” of the current energy.
