RETRO EPISODE - No. 5: How to Cope w/Mother Loss + Be Brave.

RETRO EPISODE - No. 5: How to Cope w/Mother Loss + Be Brave.

FYI Friends & Kin, I am sharing an episode with you again.  It is a Flashback to the Episodes of the Past - a retro episode from Season One. This particular episode makes sense for its re-release date of today, as it is MOTHER'S DAY of 2022! This is hands down, STILL, one of my all time favorite episodes of Hand Me My Purse. I hope you enjoy this episode and that it brings your some form of peaceful energy. I pray everyone one of you are at peace on this Mother's Day and I pray your spirit is light. God bless each of you and enjoy this oldie but goodie!
    _______________________________________________________________________________________

    Hey Friends & Kin!

Well, Mother's Day is upon us. For some it's a great time - for some of us... Not so much! I am having a real ass conversation about Mother Loss. Yes, it's a thing. My therapist, Dr. Demisse, gave me some strategies to share with my friends & kin for this Mother's Day episode. She is pretty awesome & is also a listener and fan of, "Hand Me My Purse."

Mother Loss - the actual or perceived absence of typical mother-child experiences with a maternal figure. For some, but not all, this maternal figure is a specific person.

This episode I am drinking on Jose Cuervo's Coconut Pineapple Ready to Serve Margarita! It's pretty damn DELISH!

Auntie MeMe's jam this episode is, "Dear Mama" by 2Pac. Our question for Straight Facts is of course loaded with drama & comes to us from Jamie of New Orleans! Hey Jamie!

Make sure you listen to the very end because I announce a giveaway contest that will be happening on the Hand Me My Purse. Instagram page next week!!!

I would love, love, LOVE if you would please submit questions for the
"Straight Facts" segment, as well as photos, stories & quotes of/about your favorite or NOT SO FAVORITE auntie to:
hello@handmemypurse.com - using #STRAIGHTFACTS as the subject line.
