    2014 (Part 3)

It's time for one of those huge episodes. Well, it's a four parter anyways. 2014 was for me, a classic year for horror movies, Some would say that not enough time has elapsed to make this assessment, I say, balderdash! The highs are really high & the lows can be quite messy. But, what do I think was the very greatest horror movie that came out during 2014? Well, here we have the top 10. The worst 10. A slew of also rans. Some awesome mates. Some special guests. Several pints of beer and over 5 hours of running time split over 4 episodes. This is 2014, A Year In Horror.

    • 00.29 - What We Do in the Shadows
    • 07.36 - Also Rans (Part 2)
    • 18.59 - Blue Ruin (w/ Clutch)

Episode 8: Teenage Picks part 1

Episode 8: Teenage Picks part 1

This week we begin the countdown of our favourite ten films from the last decade. This includes much discussion around the brilliance of Jeremy Saulnier, Quentin Tarantino, and Joe Carnahan and the underrated films from Pixar and Damien Chazelle.

We also get into news stories concerning the death of cinema, a movie adaptation of Sega's Yakuza franchise, Borat and Nightbreed. We also recommend some things we have been watching including The Peanut Butter Falcon and Bill and Ted Face the Music and James' final outrage against Christopher Nolan's Tenet.

    MCFC Episode 33 - Dunkirk

    MCFC Episode 33 - Dunkirk

The gang get historical this week, as they dive deep into Christopher Nolan's tense WWII drama Dunkirk (2017). With non-linear storytelling, multiple time jumps, and no set main character, this masterpiece of a film is done in a way only Nolan can. Not streaming currently, but well worth a $3.00 Youtube or Amazon digital rental.

Plenty of streaming picks, this week, so tune in to Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon and watch what we're watching. Also stay tuned til the end for next week's mystery movie from the Wheel of Destiny.
