    Episode 405: Natalie Palamides

On today's episode I talk to comedian Natalie Palamides. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Natalie's path to comedy started with clowning and devised theater with the Obie-Award-Winning Pig Iron Theatre Company. After moving to Los Angeles, she became an official performer at UCB, and since then, has garnered a number of accolades including being named a Just for Laughs New Face in 2016 and Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2017. Natalie is also a voice actor working on a number of cartoons like Bob's Burgers, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, and most notably voices Buttercup on the reboot of The Powerpuff Girls.

Listen now to hear the guys discuss the awkwardness of Back to the Future and Steve's proclamation that we are all peeping Toms now.

    Ep105: The 2019 Christmas Special

Our Christmas special isn't late--it's just really, really early. International animation superstar and Alan alumnus (Alanmnus) Simon Chong returned to the UK for the first time since departing for a new life in LA, so we ended our hiatus to find out just how much he regrets leaving us behind. (Spoiler: not at all.) Lots of the usual chat returns, including a fun new game where we gauge SiChong's eligibility for permanent residence in the US.

Episode 6- Bob's Burgers and Child Labor

Episode 6- Bob's Burgers and Child Labor

In the world of animated families, the Simpsons reign supreme. However; the Belchers of Bob's Burgers are strong up and comers. This hard scrapple clan spend their days running the eponymous burger restaurant for which the show is named. In spite of Bob's delicious and brilliantly name specials, the restaurant struggles, day in and day out. However, one way that they save on expenses is in free juvenile labor, as the Belcher children spend most of their days working for their father. Doing menial tasks. For no wages. In less than ideal working conditions... Yeah, it's a lot more like a Burmese Nike soccerball factory, than most sitcoms.
