Experience the Healing Magic of Boudoir Photography w/ Shanna Star

Experience the Healing Magic of Boudoir Photography w/ Shanna Star

In my personal journey, I had a mind-blowing experience with boudoir photography, and I can confidently say it was one of the most healing and empowering things I've ever done.

I've always been in tune with feminine energy and the playful, flirtatious side of myself. However, during the photo shoot, I crossed over into the seductress energy, and it both scared and intrigued me. It was a whole new level of power!

Contrary to popular belief, the seduction energy I tapped into had nothing to do with sexuality.

It was a powerful force of creation, an energy that can be intimidating due to its sheer power. Initially, I wanted to retreat back to the familiar flirt energy, but the photographer encouraged me to embrace it fully.

I can say it was as if an atomic bomb of beauty and confidence exploded within me.

The reason I'm sharing this is because this week's special guest is Shanna Star, a full-time photographer and an expert in boudoir photography. Shanna is also the host of the Shine Podcast, where she's all about empowering women in business and personal growth.

During our conversation, Shanna will share the transformative and healing experience that boudoir photography can offer women. We will discuss the importance of owning yourself, recognizing your goodness, and embracing your enoughness as a woman.

Join us as we dive into the power of boudoir photography, self-acceptance, and the beautiful transformations that can occur when we embrace our true selves.

This week we chat to the amazing Jen Rozenbaum; boudoir photographer, speaker, author, Nikon ambassador and breast cancer survivor.

Jen embraces her femininity while allowing women to embrace their own. By daring her clients to shed their clothes, they begin to shed their inhibitions.

We had high expectations for our chat with Jen and she surpassed them! We wanted to talk to her about showing our vulnerability and how that helps to build trust with our clients.

Building Confidence Through Boudoir Photography with Liz Hansen

Building Confidence Through Boudoir Photography with Liz Hansen
Building Confidence through boudoir photography is about empowering how you view your body. Empowerment is about choice and tapping into your possibilities. Women are bombarded with unrealistic body ideals, which makes it hard not to internalize the idea that we are flawed. Then, our choice is limited to what products to buy to try to become more beautiful to the assumed gaze of others. Or to disconnect and deprioritize our physical self. Boudoir invites you see yourself and your body through a different lens, to expand what you recognize as possible for yourself. There’s a confidence that blooms out of that knowing. It’s why many women do boudoir shoots just for themselves, not only for an intimate partner.

In this episode of the Unlimited podcast I invited Liz Hansen owner of Chicago Boudoir to join me in a conversation around the empowering experience of a boudoir photoshoot.

Some of what we talk about in this episode includes:

    • What is boudoir photography
    • Sexualization vs embodiment
    • Reclaiming your relationship with your body
    • Building a sense of confidence
    • The power of owning of your mistakes
    • Female empowerment ripple effect

    Thank you for listening!
