Here's a wrap up of our week 3 deer season with Chance Karhliker, Kyle Martin, and Chris Walker. We had some great encounters, but the best is yet to come. Things are starting to heat up and the temperatures are finally dropping. Lord willing the farmers will get their crops out sooner than later and will really help open the flood gates of those mature bucks that have been hiding.

Season opens tomorrow October 1st for a lot of us. Sean McCrory from Missouri has been out a handful of times since opener on September 15th. We catch up with how it's been going and discuss the upcoming strategies he'll put in play. Then we catch up with Nic Chambers who just returned home from a successful DIY Public Land elk hunt. Now that he's back he's ready to put his boots to the ground chasing giant whitetails in Kansas.

South Dakota didn't disappoint. Kyle Heuerman and Jake Vancil teamed up for an epic trip at Bad River Bucks and Birds in South Dakota. Kyle definitely rode the struggle bus early on, but made it count on the last day on an incredible buck. South Dakota is truly an incredible state to hunt full of wild game not to mention you can hunt a mule deer or a whitetail deer on the same tag.
