Adversity Is Inevitable! Inspiration From Meeting Marshall Falk

Adversity Is Inevitable! Inspiration From Meeting Marshall Falk

Sometimes inspiration comes and you have to drop the ball and record. (pun intended)

On this episode of Tea Talk With Ty, Ty does a very unscripted episode to discuss the nuggets she learned at the Charlotte Touchdown Club's Luncheon Speaker Series where the legendary NFL player Marshall Faulk was the guest speaker.  (Thanks Veteran's Bridge Home!)

Ty speaks on the incredible lessons she learned listening to him speak about his adversity to play college and professional football as well as the adjustment with retirement. The lessons he's learned were teachable moments about life, not just football and gave so much inspiration.

This episode was recorded live on Facebook (later deleted) but the video may show up on the youtube channel..you just never know!

Which P Should I Be Focusing On?!?!

Which P Should I Be Focusing On?!?!

In a previous episode, (I Have A Confession, I've Got To Quit This) (https://www.teatalkwithty.com/i-have-a-confessioni-got-to-quit-this/)  we discussed imposter syndrome and how it literally stops you from propelling forward.

Keeping in with that same issue and digging deeper on why imposter syndrome hits some we discuss how so many goal diggers stop showing up because they are truly afraid that they are not perfect.

Can I share a secret with you? It's NEVER going to be perfect! So what is your purpose? In this episode we discuss why it makes more sense to have the mindset of purpose and progress over perfection. Waiting for it to be perfect means you may never make your dream a reality? Are you ok with that? So which P are you going to focus on my friend?

I Have A Confession...I Got To Quit This..

Happy April and Q2! (business quarter 2)!

    im·pos·tor syn·drome
    noun

    noun: imposter syndrome

    1. the persistent inability to believe that one's success is deserved or has been legitimately achieved as a result of one's own efforts or skills.
    2. "people suffering from impostor syndrome may be at increased risk of anxiety"

Are you guilty? It can literally be costing you hundreds of dollars and the time that you value to do all of the incredible things of your dreams. In this episode I share my lack of understanding of what this term actually means and how I relate to it. I also discuss some ways to look at your 3,6,9 & 12 year goals and how what you accomplished and your actions of Q1 effects your goals for the rest of your year.
