    • We also discuss the role of the local politicians during the famine and their vested personal interests, protests by students and mill workers. Some important pit stops include the Calcutta Municipality headquarters, Victoria Memorial, Mango Lane, Grand Hotel, Metro cinema, and Statesman House among others.

Ep. 188: Lynne Twist -  Living A Committed Life

“When you make a commitment that’s of service to the world, all kinds of things line up to support you.”

There’s a harmonious balance in this world and those who harness it have found the secret to life.  Prosperity, happiness and a sense of wellbeing come easily when the burden of pursuit has been set aside for the sake of service to others and a higher purpose. Lynne Twist is an international heart leader, best selling and award winning author, social justice visionary, and coach among other things. She has learned to live what she calls a committed life and her new book, Living A Committed Life: Finding Freedom And Fulfillment In A Purpose Larger Than Yourself, was written to tell many, profound, real-life stories while reminding us all what a virtuous heart can do for the world and what the world will do for you in turn.

Lynne has walked side by side with Mother Theresa, Jack Canfield, Buckminster Fuller, and Jane Goodall, along with many others who’s names are lesser known but who’s impact on the world has been just as great.

Living A Committed Life will be released in early December 2022. Preorder now at PorchLightBooks.com and on Amazon.
