    Tara Coyote was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in September 2016. She is the author of the #1 Amazon bestseller "Grace, Grit and Gratitude". For two and half years, she went through natural rounds of therapies without any chemo or radiation therapies. Cancer spread in her body and got to stage 4. She was undergoing a lot of pain due to bone metastasis. Her left hip broke due to bone metastasis, and she had to do an emergency double hip surgery. During such times, she focused on building up her immunity. She says to everyone that you are stronger than you think you are. Cancer is not easy but take it as an opportunity. Take good care of yourself and take one day at a time.

    Rajendra Gupta is a Colorectal Cancer Caregiver to his wife. His wife started having constipation as the primary symptom, and on further tests, it was diagnosed as Colorectal Cancer. They were surprised to know that she had Cancer as she has always been a vegetarian. She Underwent Surgery, 30 Radiotherapy sessions and 12 Chemotherapy cycles as a part of the treatment. She survived Cancer. Both Husband and wife go out to survivors and caregivers houses and provide them with emotional and financial support. They also work with the Ostomy Association Of India in their support group. Rajendra Gupta says it is essential to get the proper awareness of your type of Cancer as the right treatment is the only key to survival.

After the colonoscopy, the tumour was found in her sigmoid colon. She had seven surgeries, 24 cycles of chemotherapy, radiofrequency ablation, and radiation therapies as part of her treatment. Her husband and children were the primary support system during her tough times. She worked as a full-timer before her diagnosis, but after the treatment, she quit her job. She says survivors never give up, educate themselves and follow the guidelines for the screening. Summing up her journey, she says, "I have been to hell and back."

Mark believes that every day is a gift, and each day should be treated as a blessing. Mark says, "My cancer journey has been a true blessing to my life because it has allowed me to understand what's important in my life.

Three years ago, he started losing his energy without any cause. But the rapid weight loss is what alarmed Jeremie, along with a nodule in the neck. Once he went to see the doctor, he immediately asked him to get admitted and did further tests. Once, Cancer was diagnosed, he underwent 12 rounds of chemotherapy as a part of the treatment. He started focusing more on his diet by avoiding more sugary and fast foods. He is grateful that he had a supportive family and friends throughout the cancer journey.

She underwent Surgery and Chemotherapy as a part of the treatment. Suchanki Says Cancer is not a death sentence. Cancer is a blessing that is given to those who can overcome it. With the immediate threat of chemotherapy and substantial time off work, he faced an uncertain future. Instead of protecting other people, he was faced with defending himself. In his book, “Motivated to Inspire” - A Cancer Survivor’s Perspective, he has shared some experiences that people living with Cancer are likely to go through and provided inspirational advice to encourage people to think differently.

Her mother is an active member of the Indian Cancer Society. She supported her throughout the journey, but unfortunately, she had cancer recurrence after 25 years. Alisha says positivity is the only thing that can help you fight this disease. Keep positive things around you. There can be side effects, but they will pass away.

    Wendi Cooper was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer in 2005. She was BRCA 1 positive, went through a hysterectomy, sudden menopause, prophylactic double mastectomy nightmare and continued body issues for 17 years. Recurrence 15 years after an original ovarian cancer diagnosis at 50. Currently on a PARP Inhibitor (Big Pharma) called Zejula, with its side effects and mental health issues as someone that pretty much at 66 years old, realizes that she will die of ovarian cancer, more than likely. Monthly monitoring of blood work, due to Zejula being a "new" cancer drug designed explicitly for BRCA 1 patients, monthly monitoring of blood work. She has been on it for 1 year, but she had to seek financial aid as it was costly—$ 20,000 a month or more depending on the dose. She is a commercial television producer. She says the patients not to give hope. Summing up her journey Wendi says that, "Millions of people are walking around not knowing that they have this thing growing in them. For us as cancer people, we have to find delight in it because we are truly blessed that we have cancer.

But slowly, Samantha felt things were not right, so she went to the gynaecologist, who suggested she go for mammograms and ultrasounds. The reports showed that she had inflammatory breast cancer, and then she started her treatment. She went through 6 chemotherapy cycles and mastectomy. She tells everyone not to give up and appreciate the small things in life. Cancer is not a death sentence, be hopeful. "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
