    Episode 202 - Demolition Man (1:31:43)
Mellow greetings listeners. We're about to be fined multiple credits for repeated violations of the verbal morality statute as we invite our maniac-friend Snobby Bobby of the Not For Everyone Podcast on to discuss the 90's classic: "Demolition Man"

With innocent victims caught in the crossfire in Los Angeles' intensifying war on crime, both cop John Spartan (Sylvester Stallone) and violent thug Simon Phoenix (Wesley Snipes) are sentenced to a state of frozen incarceration known as "CryoPrison." When Spartan is finally thawed 36 years later, it's 2032, and Los Angeles is now a pacifist utopia called San Angeles. But with Phoenix again on the loose, Spartan must team up with future cop Lenina (Sandra Bullock) to apprehend the killer.

So sit back, enhance your calm as we open the pod to the depths of the wasteland, and explore our joy-joy feelings and try to figure out how to use the three seashells on this one.

Come back next week as we are joined once again by the great, Peter Quinones of the Free Man Beyond the Wall Podcast back to the familiar waters of Kevin Costner flicks as we will review "The Postman".

Robert and I analyze popular movies from a Rothbardian/Anarcho-Capitalist perspective. We use movies as a starting point for people who may not be familiar with this way of thinking.

Discussion of the plot and decisions that characters make in relation to morality and violations of the non-aggression principle are our bread and butter.

We also will highlight and discuss any themes or lessons from Austrian Economics that we can glean from the film.

The point is to show what anarchy actually is with instances that are presented in film.

We publish at least once per week; and occasionally will do specials surrounding holidays or events (elections/olympics) and have guests.

    Episode 162 - The Village (1:06:33)

    Episode 162 - The Village (1:06:33)
We invite back Rachel Kennerly of "Cannabis Heals Me" to discuss M. Night Shyamalan's "The Village". The movie has the expected twist that has become on of Shyamalan's tropes, however, I think the twist we will have on this will be even better.

The premise of the movie will give us plenty of fodder for discussion as we get into instilling fear to maintain control as the benevolent overseers infantilize the populace for their own good, the greater good - or do they?

Join us next week as Scott Morrison returns to talk about "Enemy at the Gates".

    Episode 142 - Chernobyl (1:16:48)
We invite the guys behind Free Markets, Green Earth to come on and talk about the riveting HBO docuseries, Chernobyl. The events of the disaster were unknown to me until watching this series and it was an eye-opening experience on how bureaucracy creates problems and the heroism of everyday people solves them.

We will return next week to review the movie, Molly's Game.

    Episode 123 - The Truman Show (1:16:47)

    Episode 123 - The Truman Show (1:16:47)
We pop into biosphere II in the Dark-City dome from the Hunger Games to battle it out with the socialist, Jim Carrey, as we discuss his 1998 film "The Truman Show" directed by Peter Weir.

The movie is all about a utopian central-planner playing the role of a god (or a government for that matter) in the life of an unwitting subject of their hubris of control. There is plenty of philosophical meat to chew on in this one.

We get into a wordy discussion with our returning guest Mike C. who admirably filled in for our other friend, Olof the Anarcho-Viking, who had a scheduling conflict arise recently. We will be sure to have him on for a movie discussion in the near future.

Join us next week as we continue with our bold strategy and see it is pays off when we discuss
Dodgeball with one of our new friends, Tyler.

    Episode 121 - Dark City (59:51)

    Episode 121 - Dark City (59:51)
We do an analysis of Dark City with special guest, Nicky P. of the Sounds Like Liberty Podcast, which can also be found on the Launch Pad Media. This was a pick by Nick and I'm glad he did. We'll find our way to Shell Beach with him on the barrelhead.

Separated from his wife Emma, amnesiac John Murdoch awakens alone in a strange hotel to learn he is wanted for a series of brutal killings. Things get weird when we are introduced to the Borg-like vampires who control the world above in tabernacle-choir fashion using their collective telekinesis to reshape the lives of others. Their quest to save their species by understanding what it means to be “human” creates a dystopian laboratory on a floating disc in space.

    Find Nick's podcast at: https://www.soundslikelibertypodcast.com/

Join us next week for our episode on Behind the Curve, where we go to infinity and beyond on the Flat Earth documentary available now on Netflix.
