Teigen Gayse is British Columbia-based singer-songwriter who splashed onto the scene with her single “I Don’t Wanna Fall In Love Anymore” back in 2021.

Teigen is currently participating in SiriusXM’s Top of the Country contest as a semi-finalist. Her current single “If You Show Me Yours” was co-written with Chad Kroeger and Simon Clow (Kadooh).

Jeff Tomlinson hat als Trainer einige Ausrufezeichen gesetzt im Schweizer Eishockey. 2018 führte er die Rapperswil-Jona Lakers in die National League. Er wiederholte dieses Kunsstück 2022 mit dem EHC Kloten. Sowohl bei den St. Gallern (Qualifikation für die Playoff-Halbfinals) als auch bei den Zürchern (Als Aufsteiger im Pre-Playoff) trat er mit einem Erfolgserlebnis ab. Die Saison 2022/23 ist seine allerletzte als Eishockeytrainer - die Gesundheit zwang den 52-jährigen Kanadier zu diesem Entscheid.

Bei Tomlinson waren bereits während seiner Spielerkarriere Zystennieren diagnostiziert worden, 2019 waren die Werte mittlerweile so schlecht, dass er eine Spenderniere benötigte – sein Bruder Darryl schenkte ihm nicht nur eine Niere, sondern ein zweites Leben. Dennoch ist bei Tomlinson gesundheitlich seither nicht alles in Ordnung. Bereits nach dem Aufstieg 2022 wollte er eigentlich zurücktreten, er entschied sich aber, noch eine weitere Saison anzuhängen.

Nun ist definitiv Schluss, er bleibt aber in beratender Funktion beim EHC Kloten - er war sogar in die Suche nach seinem Nachfolger als Trainer involviert. Auch darüber und vieles mehr spricht Tomlinson in dieser Folge des Eisbrechers. 

What. A. Show! The new Nickelback album drops on Friday, the 18th. It's called Get Rolling. We talk about the album and a few certain songs. Chad tells me about Tommy Lee's 60th birthday party, a very funny story from when they recorded their first album, and a Stanley Cup prediction. He also talks about Pantera, the hysterical Funny or Die video they shot a decade ago, and more. 

Bryan Kuznitz from Fame On Fire is up next. Their new album is called Welcome to the Chaos...and that's what it's about. It's their Pandemic record. He talks about the upcoming tour, a cruise they'll be playing on, a Nickelback cover they did, and that's just for starters. 

I talked with metal legend, Tom G. Warrior earlier this week. What a fun talk. The new Celtic Frost boxset drops on the 25th, and it's massive. We talk about his career, influences and LOTS more.

Marianas Trench front man Josh Ramsay released a solo album on April 8th via 604 Records. This album is a collaboration with many artists and genres. The albums first single "Lady Mine" is a blistering hard rock track featuring Nickelback's Chad Kroeger.  "Best of Me" features country star Dallas Smith.  We talk the new album tracks, the video he shot at the old Molson's plant in Vancouver with Dallas Smith and what's coming up with Mariana's Trench.

In this episode, I talk about Nickelback and the three different times I have seen them. I also discuss why so many people hate them so much and try to find out why.

The first time was for the album 'The Long Road'. I saw them in Brixton for a concert that tried to be bigger than it was.

Second was for the album 'All the Right Reasons' in Shepherds Bush Empire where Chad did one of the nicest things I've seen at a concert.

The final time was at the O2 in London with the band Staind and was absolutely fantastic...if not a little strange.
