In 2012 a crazy idea popped into his head, to start a toilet paper company with a difference - giving 50% of their profits to charity. What triggered the idea was learning that 2.4 billion people at the time didn’t have access to a toilet. That's roughly 40% of the global population. How did Simon go about making the idea a reality? A crowdfunding campaign that involved sitting on a toilet for over 50 hours until over $50,000 was raised.

She was also recently appointed Advisor and Representative to the UNHCR Global Private Sector National Partner Standing Group.
