Preview: TechMeet @ NRF24’s Foodservice Innovation Zone
Anyone who’s been to the NRF’s Retail Big Show would know it’s the one of the largest technology events in the retail space. In this episode of Accelerate, host Rob Grimes is joined by Susan Newman, Senior Vice President of Events at the NRF. As collaboration partners representing the NRF and IFBTA, they preview what’s in store for the 2024 show and how technology has connected the retail & foodservice industries.

The pair start by discussing the 118-year history of the show and how it’s changed over the years from hangers and shelving to tech. The National Retail Federation is the largest retail trade association - standing up for people, policy, and ideas that help the retail industry succeed. This year, the show expects 1,000 exhibitors and over 40,000 visitors from across the globe.

Rob and Susan share a pre-show look at this year’s Foodservice Innovation Zone, an area which highlights the cool technology which is changing the customer experience in retail with foodservice. “It’s becoming easier with today’s technology to integrate retail and foodservice” mentions Susan, and adding “the option to sell food is important to a retail businesses overall footprint and ability to be successful.”

If you want a sneak peek about what to look forward to at NRF 2024: Retail’s Big Show and the Foodservice Innovation Zone, where the exciting future of integrating retail and foodservice comes to life - check out this episode of Accelerate.

I Will Survive | Pastor Ben Feldott | Cape Cod Church

What if the path to a life beyond happiness meant leaving something behind? What if that something was oddly attractive?

Philippians chapter 3 starts with a path to joy, directing us “This way, not that way.” “That” way was pretty popular 2000 years ago. And it’s odd that it still is... But we’re now on a new path together, and it’s good.

As we continue the summer series “Beyond Happy,” we talk about what makes the new path different, how it’s better, and how to know you’re on the right path.

New Colorado jury instructions alter definition of 'reasonable doubt,' callers and texters weigh in on Tom Brady divorce

New Colorado jury instructions alter definition of 'reasonable doubt,' callers and texters weigh in on Tom Brady divorce
Dan reviews the changed standard of guilt from 'reasonable doubt' for Colorado juries and asks whether it will be easier or more difficult for prosecutors to get convictions. Also, with Tom Brady announcing his retirement on Wednesday, Dan and Ryan debate whether football alone drove a dagger through the heart of the all-time great quarterback's marriage with Gisele Bündchen. Listeners weigh in by both phone and text.

    Damaged But Restored

    Damaged But Restored

In this Perfecting Faith Church sermon, Pastor Donnie McClurkin preaches from Jeremiah 18:1-6 to remind us that no matter how dark our past was and how grave our sins were, God takes damaged goods—marred clays, and remolds us as believers that we have a purpose. He puts us back on the “Potter’s wheel” to realign us to fulfill His purpose according to His will. We are vessels of purpose and no matter our past mistakes we are made perfect in His hands to be used for his glory!

Will God answer your prayer if you don't end with, "In Jesus' name, Amen?" Learn what praying in the name of Jesus really means.   I taught this week on the call of Abraham and the development of God's missionary call through the nation of Israel as they were responsible to communicate the truth of God to the cultures around them. They were given that great commission. The great commission didn't start in Matthew 28.  It started with Abraham in Genesis 12 —the first three verses there —Abraham, chosen by God to raise up a nation who would then be God's priests to the world so that they would be a blessing to all of the nations.   They had a unique role in the great monotheistic religion. The Jews were supposed to reflect morality to the world. Israel was to witness to the name of God. When they talked about the name of God and witnessing to God's name, that does not mean that they were to let everybody know what they called God, "Yahweh." Their goal wasn't to cover the countryside with evangelists who just let everybody know what the right word for God was. It meant something different.    ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ https://linktr.ee/jacksonlibon -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- #realtalk #face #instagram #amour #take #couple #dance #dancers #vogue #voguedqnce #garden #tiktok #psychology #beyou #near #love #foryou #money #ForYouPizza #fyp #irobot #theend #pups #TikToker #couplegoals #famille #relation #doudou #youtube #twitter #tiktokers #love #reeĺs #shorts #instagood #follow #like #ouy #oyu #babyshark #lilnasx #girl #happybirthday #movie #nbayoungboy  #deviance #autotrader #trading #khan #academy #carter #carguru #ancestry #accords #abc #news #bts #cbs #huru #bluebook #socialmedia #whatsapp #music #google #photography #memes #marketing #india #followforfollowback #likeforlikes #a #insta #fashion #k #trending #digitalmarketing #covid #o #snapchat #socialmediamarketing

#29 - How Political Polarization Affects Our Personal and Professional Lives with Alison Goldsworthy, Laura Osborne & Alexandra Chesterfield
In this episode of the podcast, we speak with Alison Goldsworthy, Laura Osborne, and Alexandra Chesterfield about the manifestations of political polarization in our personal and professional lives and how we might best go about coping with it and mitigating it where possible.

    We discuss:

    - Signs of increasing polarization
    - How polarization affects decision-making—who to marry, live with, and hire
    - Whether business helps to bring people together who disagree politically
    - Whether political or ideological neutrality might be tenable in business
    - Facilitating constructive political conversations on polarizing topics
    - How emphasizing similarity, identifying superordinate goals and identity can reduce animosity
    - How puncturing the illusion of explanatory depth can help people to realize they know less than they actually do, inducing a more open mind
    - Valuing intellectual honesty in leaders, and rewarding honesty about ignorance and the willingness to find out new information
    - The importance of asking people how they arrived at the views you disagree with
    - How personal ethics might affect what political positions people are willing to try to understand or empathize with

Forever curious about why we do what we do, she currently works in financial services, leading a team of behavioral scientists to help get better outcomes for employees and customers. Floatation Tanks Are Changing People's Lives and The World
Professional athletes from the NBA and NFL, business leaders, celebrities, and creative professionals have been using floatation tanks for years. The benefits are well-documented, and include stress relief, rebooting the brain, and feeling a calm that lasts. Floatation tanks help people experience reduced stress and anxiety, muscle relief, improved focus, and an enhanced sense of well-being. The profound relaxation and peace people feel even stays with them during moments of extreme stress. Many people achieve deep meditative states, and Navy Seals decrease the amount of time it takes to become fluent in a language from months to weeks. Flotation tanks are a good way to unplug from the onslaught of technology and noise in our busy world. Commercial float centers are common across the United States and around the world making it easy for people to experience floating as an occasional treat or on a continuous basis. Please join us Thursday to learn more about flotation tanks and how we can all benefit by using them.
