Canterbury are embracing home advantage in today's Ford Trophy one-day final against Auckland. 

Canterbury skipper Cole McConchie is aware of the ideal target needed to get the upper hand at Hagley Oval. 

The hosts welcome back Black Caps Will O'Rourke and Tom Latham along with Henry Shipley, who returns from a stress fracture in his back. 

Cole McConchie joined D'Arcy Waldegrave ahead of the first ball at 10:30.

The Canterbury men's cricket team is set to play the Central Districts today at 4pm. 

Team captain, Cole McConchie, says he's looking forward to the game and he is certain his team is prepared.
