After a successful junior career on Long Island, Archie competed on the Drew University team where he was an IHSA National Champion.     Claire just completed her final term at Dartmouth College this past fall. At Dartmouth, she was Co-Captain of the equestrian team. In the IHSA she was Zone 1 Region 2 Cacchione Cup Rider in 2019. This past spring, she was on the ECAC All-Tournament Flat & Fences Team, NCEA All-Academic First Team and At-Large Academic All-Ivy Team.

    Ashley rode for Sally on the Dartmouth College Varsity Equestrian team. Upon graduating, Ashley continued the pursuit of her dreams by attending Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a practicing small animal veterinarian in the San Francisco Bay Area today. Her hospital, which she built from the ground up, celebrated it's 4-year-anniversary earlier this year. Horses continue to hold a central place in Ashley's life: she spends much of her free time developing young event horses and competing them on the West Coast 3-day eventing circuit.

    Michaela Scanlon is the only head coach in the history of the Brown varsity equestrian program, entering her 27th season. As a club team they have been able to qualify for IHSA National Championships and take home multiple individual ribbons. The team trains at Warren’s Windswept Farm.

    Daphne Maniatis is a 3rd year student at Brown studying Mathematical Physics. This will be her second year as a captain of the Equestrian Team, where she also competes in Limit Flat and Fences.

    Heather Pinnick is the Head Coach for the Miami University equestrian team located in Ohio. She is a graduate from The University of Findlay with a Bachelor of Science degree in Equine Science and Biology in 2003 and her Masters of Education degree in 2005. Since taking over the team in 2005, she has coached numerous riders to National Championships and most recently her team was Reserve Champions at the 2022 IHSA Nationals.

    Phillip Williamson is Director of Equestrian and Head Coach at the University of Lynchburg. In this role he oversees both the IHSA and NCEA teams. 

    Williamson gradrated in 2016 with a equine studies degree from Centenary College (now University) in Hackettstown, N.J., Williamson was an accomplished rider for the Centenary program in his own right which contributed to his variety of experiences in the equestrian world. After graduation he served as a riding instructor and assistant team coach at Sweet Briar College from 2018 -2020, where he mentored two IHSA Zone 4 Region 4 championship teams. Besides being the head coach for University of Lynchburg, he holds a U.S. Equestrian Federation “r” judge’s card and is a United States Hunter Jumper Association Certified Trainer. He also completed a master's degree in coaching and sport leadership from Randolph College in 2021.
