Dr. Jeyavijayan "JV" Rajendran, assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, poses this exact question to his students. Rajendran is researching ways to improve hardware security, which has a become a weak link in cybersecurity. He also has found a passion for helping students get excited about cybersecurity through a "capture the flag" type competition called Hack@DAC.
