    National Hot Pastrami Day: 01/14/24

    National Hot Pastrami Day: 01/14/24

January 14th is celebrated as National Hot Pastrami Day in the United States. This day is dedicated to the delicious and savory sandwich made with hot, thinly sliced pastrami, typically served on rye bread with mustard and pickles.

Pastrami is a cured meat that is traditionally made from beef, although other meats such as turkey or pork may also be used. The meat is seasoned with a blend of spices, including garlic, coriander, and black pepper, and then smoked or steamed to create its distinctive flavor.

National Hot Pastrami Day is an opportunity to indulge in this classic sandwich and to appreciate the many variations and regional styles that can be found around the country. Whether you prefer your pastrami on rye with mustard and pickles or topped with coleslaw and Thousand Island dressing, there is a pastrami sandwich out there to suit everyone's tastes.

To celebrate National Hot Pastrami Day, people may visit their favorite deli or sandwich shop to enjoy a hot pastrami sandwich, or try making their own pastrami at home. People may also share their favorite pastrami recipes or stories about their love of this classic sandwich.

Overall, National Hot Pastrami Day is a fun and delicious holiday that celebrates one of America's most beloved sandwiches. It is a chance to savor the rich and savory flavors of hot pastrami and to appreciate the many different ways in which this classic sandwich can be enjoyed.

Many More Trump Indictments: He May Be Guilty of Some or All — But Should His Opponent Be Permitted to Defeat Him and 80 Million Americans Without Defeating Him at the Ballot Box? Why Is He Running When He Knows He Can’t Win?

In this hotly anticipated new podcast, Jeff finally gets off his ass and catches up on the new Trump Indictments. However, this podcast isn't an analysis of the evidence. Instead, the issues discussed include:

    1. Should the party in power get to eliminate its opponent without an election?
    2. Why would Trump insist upon running when he knows he can't win, and how his loss will ensure a liberal sweep of the Senate, House, and probably Supreme Court?

As explained by Jeff, the answer can be found in pillow sales and weekly boob jobs: $$$.

Limited Appeal - Now stuffed with Macaroni (Part 2)

Limited Appeal - Now stuffed with Macaroni (Part 2)
For the first time in a long while, we reach deep into the mail sack. In reference to Episode Muffcake, a listener comments on all the crap in our podcast, and suggests we might want to run for office. Luc questions the relevance of cupcakes and muffins for public policy planning, but perhaps he's unfairly dismissing some broadly relevant aspects of baking for the common good. Perhaps. Next, Warren refers to an episode of Seinfeld in which pastrami is designated as the most sensual of salted cured meats. He asks the obvious question: what is the least sensual salted cured meat? Does sensual have too many sexual connotations for you? How about sensuous? No difference? You obviously don't work in a charcuterie shop. Cop that, John Milton! If you don't like it, feel free to punch our mail sack (maskedman@limitedappeal.net). Theme music courtesy of General Patton vs. The X-Ecutioners and Ipecac Recordings.
