22 Creedmoor: The Ultimate Predator Cartridge?

22 Creedmoor: The Ultimate Predator Cartridge?

Is there a predator-hunting cartridge that outperforms all others? There is, and it's called the 22 Creedmoor. It's designed for maximum performance with modern, high-BC .22-caliber centerfire bullets, and as a result is much more effective than classic favorites such as the .22-250.

Skeptical? I admit I sure was. Research showed me that the 22 Creedmoor doesn't just outperform the .22-250 and other popular predator rounds, it eclipses them. Want some numbers? The 22 Creedmoor is more effective at 800 yards than the .22-250 is at 500 yards. It has less than half the wind drift. It impacts with more than double the energy and a whole lot more velocity downrange.

Wildcatted and promoted by serious coyote competition callers in Texas, the 22 Creedmoor has just been legitimized by Hornady and is now a proper factory-loaded cartridge. Horizon Firearms has exclusive marketing priveledges for Hornady ammo, and makes the finest 22 Creedmoor factory-ready rifles I've seen anywhere—for half the cost you'd expect.

This was a unique project with a result that really surprised me. Candidly, I had no idea just how good the 22 Creedmoor would prove to be.

    ENJOY!

December 17th, 2023... Civil War? 22 Creedmoor... Garmin Xero... And, only 1 rifle? Make it a 308~!
So the Holly-weirds have a movie being released early in 2024 called Civil War--it's about a civil war in America in modern times, which the globalist bastards certainly do want. And, what's up with the 22 Creedmoor? Good idea, or not? You can decide... :) We talk handguns, knives, and more in this show. We hope you'll tune in. :)

October 2nd, 2023 ... 6.5 Creed does the mile... The mighty 500 Smith & Wesson... Trajectory Ranging, Triangle Drills...

October 2nd, 2023 ... 6.5 Creed does the mile... The mighty 500 Smith & Wesson... Trajectory Ranging, Triangle Drills...
We had two top tier clients to work with today, and they proficiency-advanced to 1200 yards quickly, then they both got solid hits at our 1 mile target. We talk briefly about the Mighty 500 Smith & Wesson revolver--the beast of the hand-cannons, to be sure. All this and more on tonight's podcast. We hope you'll tune in! :)

Crippling Injuries & Mild Cartridges that Keep You In The Hunt, with John Zombro

Crippling Injuries & Mild Cartridges that Keep You In The Hunt, with John Zombro

In 2021 John Zombro—a hard-core Montana backcountry hunter and orthopedic physical therapist—blew his shooting-side shoulder joint up like a grenade.

Unwilling to give up his lifelong passion for hunting, John researched and put together a special rifle/cartridge system that enabled him to take mule deer, elk, and antelope the season following his shoulder reconstruction.

John hosts The Lifetime Athlete podcast, gives a great interview, and was kind enough to come on the show and tell his story. He's a wealth of information on overcoming hunt-crippling injuries, and shares some tremendous insights.

John is also a gear-head and rifle nut of the first order, and in this episode he outlines his research into just what shooting system would help him effectively take big, old bull elk yet wouldn't damage his reconstructed shoulder.

It's a fascinating story, folks. ENJOY!

    July 11th, 2022 ... Top FIVE production rifles... The 308 is for PROS--not beginners~! Good-bye Guidestones~! :)
We discuss the top five (our picks) production rifles under 2000 dollars (some are closer to 1000 dollars)... and did Bill Gates say he would reduce world population with vaccines? Yes, you'll hear the bastard in his own words. And, Prince Charles shows us why we need to keep our long range shooting skills sharp (he said he'd send in the military to bring in globalism, you'll hear the SOB in his own words)... and what is happening to the birth rate worldwide? And the heightened death rate in 2021 (it's a massive shift and it's *not* the virus--that's for sure)... Very curious stuff... we hope you'll tune in. :)

April 18th, 2022 ... ELR (how far is too far?) Reticle ranging a farce? Inherently accurate cartridges?
We talk about why some cartridges seem "inherently accurate" while others are picky about load recipes (and even factory load recipes)... And, is reticle ranging useful for anything? Are there better ways to work? And with regard to Extreme Long Range shooting--how far is too far? We discuss these and other things in this week's episode. We hope you'll tune in. :)

April 4th, 2022... Accurizing factory rifles... state's rights and the cabal's evil plans... Epstein Island...
We discuss ways to make the old hunting rifle you may already own shoot well to 1000 yards... and, what will the "cabal" do to stop the American election this November? (they may stop at literally nothing, don't be surprised)... new "covid" variant (Terry)... oh yeah, they're going there. :/ And more... we hope you'll listen in. :)

    64. Belly Flop - My First Long Range Rifle Match

    64. Belly Flop - My First Long Range Rifle Match
I just shot in my first long range precision "sniper" style shooting match. I don't really see myself as a competitor, but this seemed like a fun way to give myself some pressure to continue to improve my shooting in the off-season and to continue to learn about long-range shooting.

In this episode, I describe the match, my own personal performance, and what I learned from it. I hope this inspires you to get out and shoot more, and maybe even fine some form of shooting competition (pistol, rifle, bow, or shotgun) in your area!

    31. My Long Range Precision Rifle Setup

    31. My Long Range Precision Rifle Setup
Another episode for rifle dorks. In this podcast episode I discuss the details of my long range precision rifle setup. With the goal of hitting small targets at significant distance, I wanted an extremely accurate rifle that is fun to shoot and doesn't break the bank. My goal wasn't to build a "budget" gun, but I wanted to keep the cost reasonable, and still get awesome results. I discuss everything from the ammo I use to to optic, the bipod, and even the sling. Give this episode a listen and join me in geeking out about accurate rifle gear. Whether you have been shooting rifles for a long time, or you are just getting into this exciting world, it is fun to consider the possibilities of long distance target shooting.

    22. Gun Season: My Deer Rifle and What Makes it Great

    22. Gun Season: My Deer Rifle and What Makes it Great
In this episode, I prepare for gun season and describe my deer rifle, including the features and the though processes and research behind selecting those features. I focus on how I set it up, the ammo, optic, and sling that I use, and why this is a great combination for my style of hunting. I have been bow hunting for the last few weeks, but it is now time to turn my attention to my trusted boom stick and put some more deer meat in the freezer.
