Jesus' disciples eye witnessed His life and ministry (i.e. healing the blind, lame and the sick) But we don't hear them asking Jesus "teach us how to heal" but rather "Teach US to PRAY." Why? What was so special about the way Jesus prayed? Today, through examining the prayer life of Jesus in the Garden, we gain invaluable insight into having a deeper relationship with God as we follow His prayer examples!

Prayer is simply talking with God and Him talking to us. Prayer isn't about God moving closer to me. It's about moving me closer to God. God doesn't answer prayer on the basis of who we are. God answers prayer on the basis of who He is.
