The Fourth Film by Quentin Tarantino

We're wrapping up Kill Bill and Season 2 of Whine and a Movie all in one episode. When it's right, it's right. Kill Bill Vol. 2 has it all. There's fight scenes, emotion, backstabbing, eye plucking, astonishingly long training sequences. What's not to love? We pair it with a Riesling of all things from Kung Fu Girl, and it was so good. We were worried that it would taste like alcoholic sugar water and it absolutely does not. 100% would buy again.

Metacritic Score: 83/100

Movie Sync Notes: We rented the movie on Amazon Prime. We start "Kill Bill Vol. 2" 4:46 into the pod, and push play on part two 51:20 into the pod.

Marc Zirogiannis takes a look at the new Kung Fu television series, launching on The CW on April 7, 2021. This reimagined version of the 1972 show, which starred David Carradine, stars Olivia Liang in the leading role. The show is a contemporary show about a a young women's journey from San Francisco to a Shaolin Monastery to discover herself. After her Master is murdered she returns to the US to search for her Master's killer. The episode also takes a look at Bruce Lee's connection to the original series and its successors.
