Slap on that fedora and crack your whip, cuz it’s time we MEET STEVEN SPIELBERG—OK MAYBE WE JUST SAW HIM LIVE ON STAGE—WITH LIN-MANUEL MIRANDA—BUT HE SAID HE LOVED US at a special theatrical screening Raiders of the Lost Ark at the United Palace in Washington Heights. Is Bryce a true romantic for going to see Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in the theater multiple times with Randall? How did Dayna manage not to watch this movie until her 20s—and not see Temple of Doom as of this recording? Who is everyone’s bigger first film crush, Harrison Ford or Karen Allen? And can we just say f@ck you Nazi monkey? Honestly, we have too many feelings about this film to give you too many answers. 

It's the 40th Anniversary of this epic action-adventure movie and the iconic character Indiana Jones! Is it still as good as I remember as a kid? Let's listen and find out because luckily it's being re-released in theaters this summer.

It's Christmaaaaaaaaaaas!!! So it's time for our festive film choice.  Well, not OUR choice.  We've ... ummmm ... traded places and allowed our special guest to choose a movie.  So the lovely Simon London has selected 1983's TRADING PLACES.

It's that time of year again when we rummage through Roald Dahl's garden shed and revisit a couple of TALES OF THE UNEXPECTED.  This year's selected episodes are charmingly titled THE UMBRELLA MAN and THE STINKER.  Feel free to make up your own jokes about the quality based on these titles.
