GDPR, Social Media & Technology - Impact on Society | A Fireside Chat: Drinking and Thinking With GaryVee at VM London

Really really loved getting down with this Q&A at VM London a few weeks back, jumping into my thoughts around different social platforms, the GDRP compliance, and how technology is shaping the way that we live, work and breathe. Really solid fireside chat and Q&A here, hope you really enjoy <3

A Fireside Chat at Baron Davis' All Star Weekend

The internet changed everything... There are no more middlemen and you don't have to get the permission from some old white dude to do whatever it is that you need to do. Instead of coming up with dumb excuses as to why you can't.. look at all the reasons why you can. Hope u all enjoy this fireside chat I did at Baron Davis' Allstar weekend in LA. <3

    An Interview With Jay Shetty

    An Interview With Jay Shetty

Loved chopping it up with my man Jay Shetty, chatting about gratitude, empathy, self awareness and positivity and how the combination of all these things enable leverage in different scenarios. We dive in about how you need to learn to let things go, and not allow other peoples' negativity to push you down, even if someone's saying "you're ugly, you suck" on Instagram. The comments here are straight from the heart - hope you love it <3

A Rant: YOU HAVE TIME - Advice For Starting Over

This rant is for every single person that thinks they're "too old to start over", or that they're stuck in a job they hate instead of pursuing what they really want to do. At 31 I was a wine merchant buying and selling wine, and now I'm leading Vaynermedia. The INTERNET is what's enabling you to do a complete 180 and aim for what you really want. It doesn't matter if you're 25, 26 or even 54. This 100 percent applies to you, and you NEED to hear this one. Hit me up on twitter and let me know you heard this and understood !!

    An Interview with Salesforce

    An Interview with Salesforce

I might have different tactics when it comes to sales but don't get it twisted because I'm a salesman through and through. Sales can be interpreted as a dirty word to a lot of people but at the end of the day, a business isn't a business without them. Since I've been a kid I've been in sales, and yes, I might like look a little different than what many people think of when they think 'salesman' but that doesn't mean I'm any different which is why I love doing events like this especially with a company as notable as Salesforce. So much fun in this one and hope you guys enjoy .. especially all my people in sales out there ;)

Tim Wu's interesting, unusual, fascinating life

Tim Wu's interesting, unusual, fascinating life
Columbia law professor Tim Wu makes me feel boring and underaccomplished. He’s been a Supreme Court clerk, a Silicon Valley startup employee, a bestselling author, and a star academic. He coined the term "network neutrality," wrote the superb book The Master Switch, and was dubbed "Genius Wu" by Richard Posner — a man many consider to be our smartest living judge. And this is to say nothing of Wu's award-winning side-gig as a — yes — travel writer.Anyway, screw that guy. Wu's new book is The Attention Merchants, and it's a history of how the advertising business has shaped the information we consume, the products we crave, and the way we think. We talk about that book, but we also talk about Wu's approach to life. He explains why his great strength is his ability to ignore inconsistency, how Larry Lessig shaped his career and his marriage, why working in Silicon Valley left him skeptical of markets, and Marshall McLuhan and Timothy Leary’s advertising jingle for acid (really). We also go deep into antitrust law, the inner workings of the Supreme Court, whether Google and Facebook are monopolies, and what a world without advertising in media might look like. So this conversation covers a lot of ground. Enjoy! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Expand on the last rant: tactics vs. religion, quantity vs. quality, branding vs. numbers. I’d love your thoughts on that answer.
