S2E7 -- A Conversation with 2015 UMWC Champion Mike Coughlin
Mike Coughlin shares his journey through endurance sports and the lessons learned along the way to becoming the Ultraman World Championships champion. These include learning patience, making the correct choices at the right times, racing with negative splits, and learning how to win the big races.
Mike shares experiences from other unique events and tries to put into words what Ohana truly means and feels like.
Since winning UMWC in 2015, Mike now focuses more on coaching other Ultra athletes through Discomfort Zone Performance Coaching and raising his two young children with his partner Kate in Guelph, Ontario.
Three time World Champion Tracy Preston is the athlete profiled in Steve King Stories. Tracy holds the distinction of winning by the smallest margin of victory ever at an Ultraman event.
