Dalet (3:35) has been working with Victoria Racing Club (VRC), custodians of Australia’s most iconic racecourse, to build a fully functioning media production unit. Matrox® Video (4:02) has launched the LUMA Pro Series, a new line of graphics cards powered by Intel Arc GPUs.

The Tiffen Company (4:36) has added a new special effects filter to their renowned line of optical filters. Mediaproxy (5:01) has supplied two LogServer servers to French private national broadcaster M6 as its new video logging system. Advanced Systems Group, LLC (ASG) (5:40) has entered into a strategic partnership with Zero Density. 

PHABRIX (6:22) has announced that EVS has purchased two of its 25G IP ST 2110 QxL rasterizers. Broadcast Solutions (6:51) has delivered a new outside broadcast truck, known as IP1, to Supersport. Matthews (7:52) now offers a better way to level up camera rigging with the latest addition to the patented Infinity Arm system. LEE Filters (8:24) has announced that its most popular technical gels and lighting diffusion are now available in LEE Compact 2-foot rolls.

TV Direct has upgraded its ingest, channel branding and automated playout infrastructure to a full PlayBox Neo (4:07) system in corporation with playout service-provider PSI Broadcasting. CJP Broadcast Service Solutions (5:19) took a leading role in the design, engineering and implementation of the practical facilities at the School of Digital Arts (SODA) at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Mr Mxf (6:17) talks about PHABRIX and its new QXP portable waveform monitor which was shown at MPTS 2023.

disguise (7:42) has announced that for the first time, Cannes attendees will be able to access five days of virtual production activities powered by its platform at the film festival’s inaugural Virtual Production Summit.

A new location has opened up for Video Europe (8:18) in Cardiff which has long been an important centre for media, and it continues to thrive with major studios and production companies active in the region. Another new location for ES Broadcast (8:48) who has opened a new equipment hire office in Reims, France.

The use of Video Assistant Referee (VAR) systems continues to gain momentum around the world and Broadcast Solutions (9:19) has delivered another mobile VAR unit to the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA). Angekis (9:47) has announced the launch of its latest product, the Saber X, a professional PTZ camera designed for high-end video production.

In this week's KitPlus TV news we cover the latest offerings added to the KitPlus Pressroom and looking ahead to CABSAT in Dubai which kicks off very soon, from 16th to 18th of May 2023.

To start with 3Dconnexion and Maxon (0:21) have collaborated on a new, powerful integration enabling Cinema 4D users to reach a new level of 3D navigation and streamlined workflows. Blu Digital Group (0:40) has announced the opening of its new state-of-the-art facility in the creative media hub of Hatton Garden, London. PHABRIX (1:05) has revealed that Cobalt Digital has purchased four of its QxL rasterizers.

Dot Group (2:56) is providing data transport services to London post-production company Molinare. Molinare is using Dot’s DataSprint service for predictably priced, secure and fast file delivery. When WePlay (3:36) Esports launched its WePlay Esports Arena in Los Angeles, the state-of-the-art venue was equipped with the latest and greatest gear including the Model 5422A Dante® Intercom Audio Engine from Studio Technologies.

disguise (4:17) has announced integration with ZeroSpace’s SpoutBridge, a tool that bridges the Spout technology with disguise RenderStream to facilitate production for XR and live events. Monticello Baptist Church has been utilizing JVC (4:47) cameras since 1989. With the latest upgrade, the tech team now have six GY-HC500U cameras located throughout the sanctuary. EMG (5:16) is progressing its long-term plan to increase the sustainability of its fleet of golf-focused OB trucks with the addition of six Volvo FH (Forward High) tractor units.

V1 Productions is partnering with Marshall Electronics (6:03) and its HD and 4K (UHD) miniature and compact cameras with associated lenses, for the capture of thrilling aviation-based content.

Now for some CABSAT news, GB Labs (6:40) will be exhibiting at CABSAT alongside regional partners, Ideal Systems. LiveU (7:06) is coming back to CABSAT this year presenting its complete IP video EcoSystem for hybrid and agile live production. EditShare (7:46) will showcase its latest productivity and creativity developments at CABSAT. The demonstrations will show what can be achieved with EditShare’s market leading EFS storage devices, available both as on premise servers, and also as cloud technology.

Finally, for CABSAT do check out the GREAT Britain and Northern Ireland Pavilion managed by Tradefair (8:16). 18 companies will represent the complete range of vendors active in the region.

PMC (5:55) is showcasing its full range of professional monitors on booth 15908 at this year’s NAMM exhibition in California (April 13 - 15). Osprey Video (6:27) has announced a new technology partnership with Red5 Pro. Sohonet (6:44) announced it has acquired 5th Kind who over the last decade has helped thousands of creatives streamline their increasingly complex workflows with a cloud-based asset management. 

disguise (7:04) has announced a new collaboration with NVIDIA to integrate the NVIDIA Omniverse platform with disguise’s platform for immersive experiences. LiveU (7:23) has joined the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN).

Shanghai Media Tech Co (SMT) and Media Links (7:45) recently teamed up to evaluate a 4K UHD remote production application. nxtedition (8:12) has successfully integrated OpenAI Whisper, a cutting-edge speech-to-text artificial intelligence, into its standard platform. Vizrt (8:40) has announced an advanced version of Viz Social featuring a Flowics-based interface to provide a more intuitive and improved experience for users. 

Lightware Visual Engineering (9:10) has recently launched two new training, sales and technical hubs in the UK and the USA. Marshall Electronics (9:34) has announced a collaboration with Audinate, developer of Dante® AV-over-IP solution. Leader Instruments Corporation (9:56) announces a major addition to its range of broadcast-quality test and measurement solutions. DAD's (10:19) new AX Center is a Thunderbolt audio interface with mic and instrument inputs, monitor outputs, PRO|MON control, and expansion slots.

In this week's KitPlusTV News we report on the latest industry updates including news on the upcoming NAB Show taking place from 16 - 19 April in Las Vegas. Firstly, Leader (0:53) and Phabrix products will be on show at NAB in a combined product display, on booth C490. Editshare (1:24) will use NAB to unveil its latest productivity and creativity enhancements on their booth N2100. Farmerswife (1:52) will be showcasing the latest version of the farmerswife tool, as well as the latest updates to its powerful SaaS task and project management solution Cirkus.

On booth W1501, Telestream (2:22) will unveil new product innovations to streamline the creation and production, distribution and monetization of video content. Magewell (2:45) has unveiled a new model in its Eco Capture family of ultra-compact, power-efficient, M.2 video capture cards. Appear (3:11) has launched its hardware accelerated video transport technology over the SRT protocol. Marshall Electronics (3:34) will showcase its CV730-BHN with Full-NDI® and CV730-ND3 with NDI®|HX3 technology at NAB (Booth C5520). And, Comprimato (4:00) will show the latest version of its Live Transcoder software at NAB 2023 (they are in meeting room W2378).

Evertz (5:54) will be attending NAB 2023 with a range of advanced solutions that address the significant changes taking place throughout the media and entertainment industry. 

Moving away from NAB, Ad Insertion Platform (6:45) and Tiledmedia are partnering to give broadcasters, rightsholders and content owners an automated way to seamlessly deliver non-intrusive overlay ads into the video content of video-on-demand (AVOD) and free, ad supported streaming TV (FAST) streams.

PlayBox Technology (7:19) announces a strategic partnership with Global Distribution. The Tiffen Company (7:47) has added two new diffusion effects filters to their renowned line of optical filters. disguise (8:29) and XPLOR has announced a new partnership to further tackle the skills gap in virtual production. And, Amagi (9:12) has announced the creation of 21 new FAST channels for music video brand XITE.

The 37th America's Cup which takes place in 2024, with NYYC American Magic as the New York Yacht Club's challenger for the upcoming race and to help enhance training, the team are using Marshall Electronics (4:48) cameras to capture unique footage for performance evaluations in extreme conditions.

Another company heading to NAB is FOR-A Corporation of America (5:38) with a fully NDI®-compatible live video production ecosystem, disguise (6:13) has announced a major upgrade to its Cloud platform and The Video Services Forum (VSF) (6:40) has further enhanced the Reliable Internet Streaming Transport (RIST) protocol with the use of Wireguard VPN in RIST devices.

Kiloview (6:58) has announced Kiloview N6's comeback - a full functional NDI bi-directional converter and Leader Electronics' (7:56) LV5350 waveform monitor will form the test and measurement core of a digital film production system on the Mission stand, 206, at the upcoming BSC Expo 2023.

Zixi (7:25) has announced a partnership with Ant Media, and integration with Ant Media Server (AMS) and Projects Department (8:30), the manufacturer of the Element Tile LED continues to build on customer feedback and have recently shared its plans to launch a further two versions to the range.

Sony is expanding its lineup of cameras with the addition of two 4K models with built-in AI analytics. .

The Sundance Film Festival, was supported by Atomo with on-board monitoring and recording using the Ninja V and ATOMOS CONNECT. KitPlus TV recently became big fans of the ATOMOS CONNECT camera to cloud workflow after using it at ISE 2023.

ISE Show 2023 is fast approaching and this week we are reporting on some news previews from a few exhibitors. Magewell has announced the Pro Convert Audio DX multi-format IP audio encoder, decoder, and capture device and Densitron will be featured on the BirdDog stand at ISE where they will showcase the recently announced integration of its acclaimed IDS control system with the full range of BirdDog cameras.

Clear-Com will be there to showcase a broad range of intercom applications with the company’s diverse portfolio of intercom systems and FSR has announced plans to bring a complement of infrastructure and power products to ISE.

Kiloview has released a new generation of video encoders known as ‘E3' and will be unveiled for the first time at ISE. The Alliance for IP Media Solutions X (AIMS) will be showcasing its IPMX-based hardware and software working together seamlessly in live demonstrations hosted by AIMS members and IPMX collaborators.

In other news, Flanders Scientific has unveiled its new OLED monitor and Tedial has successfully completed the AWS Foundational Technical Review (FTR) for its award-winning smartWork NoCode Media Integration platform. Wooden Camera has announced a new collection of custom kits for Panasonic’s GH6 and Quality, a spanish production company, has successfully completed live coverage of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Qualifiers relying on Dejero connectivity solutions. 

PHABRIX has released the latest update, V4.8, for its acclaimed Qx and QxL rasterizers and Zixi has announced an integration by Spin Digital into its live encoding and playback solutions. The FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2022 Paris Masters has relied on a multicamera OB solution featuring the ATEM Constellation 8K live production switcher from Blackmagic Design. 

disguise has released Porta 2.1, a significant update to its integrated software solution and Lightware Visual Engineering is strengthening the security profiles of its product range as collaborative applications continue to soar in popularity across the globe.

Our adventurers brave caverns they know to be dangerous, risk discovery even while invisible, and fight a particularly nasty set of furniture in a magic shop.
