AnYwAy join us as we discuss some very important questions like

Whose vocals are we listen to? Zac Efron or Drew Seeley?
Who is/are the real villain(s) of this movie?
How is every single song a bop?
And WHY ARE SHARPAY AND RYAN AUDITIONING FOR THE LOVER LEADS OF THIS PLAY????

We need answers Darby!!!! Perhaps we'll get them in this week's episode as long as we're All in This Together! (See what we did there?)

Director Deviation: Q & A with Paul Hoen Disney Director!

Welcome back to another NOT regularly scheduled episode of Disney Deviants!

We know we promised Stepsister From Planet Weird, but hopefully you can forgive us for this deviation, because we got to sit down and talk with the director of the ENTIRE Z-O-M-B-I-E-S  franchise!

After a DM to our Disney Deviants Instagram, we saw that Paul had not only listen to our last episode, but that he had was totally game from coming on the podcast to discuss all of the questions, comments, and concerns we had about the final (?) movie in the franchise. And our chaotic selves of course said yes!

So sit down, relax, and make sure you grab a cup  of tea, because we spill of our ours in this week's episode of Disney Deviants!

    Descendants 3

    Descendants 3

Damn Mal! Back at it again with the hiding major parts of your identity from the supposed love of your life!

That's right, we watched the final(?) installment of The Descendants DCOM series, Descendants 3, starring, Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Cameron Boyce (R.I.P.) and Booboo Stewart. And we had so many questions (and very few answers) like:

    1. How'd your budget get bigger and then wigs got worse?
    2. Are these 4 leads even friends?
    3. What is the point of Jay's character?
    4. IS THAT WORLD RENOWNED CHOREOGRAPHER JAMAL SIMS???
    5. And last but not least, You popped off on the choreo Kenny!!!

Ok that last one wasn't a question, but it needed to be said! Join us as we sing Kenny's praise, to see if we're singing about anyone else in this week's episode of Disney Deviants, Descendants 3!

    Turning Red

    Turning Red

This week we bring to you a sudden and unannounced deviation due to the release of Disney Pixar's newest film, Turning Red!

And with this deviation from schedule comes a deviation from format. We talk Likes, Dislikes, and the controversial opinions that rocked the interwebs concerning this movie. And we answer the burning question that is at the core of every Disney film:
    Who is this made for?

Join us as we journey to the year 2002 and get our *Insert name of generic boy band here* jam on in this week's Disney Deviation, Turning Red!

    The Cheetah Girls 2

    The Cheetah Girls 2

As February comes to a close, so too does Black History month. But fear not faithful listeners. March ushered in Women's History month and what better way to celebrate these endings and beginnings than by having the blackity black blackest show we could, with guests from our friends over at Textured Heir!

That's right! This week we are joined by Mariah and Camille and Lyndan of Does This Hold Up podcast and get to discuss all things growl power as we take on The Cheetah Girls 2! We strutted our way through the streets of Barcelona to bring you amazing insights as to the best songs, the best gossip, and answer the question that's been on everyone's mind since 2006. Who was the most wrong when it came to rehearsal and Barcelona?

Scratch that. The question we need IMMEDIATE answers to is WHY DID COSTUMES DO OUR GIRL RAVEN SO DOWN DOG DIRTY?!?!?

Whew. Now that we got that off our chest, stayed tuned to Disney Deviants for this week's episode as we discuss The Cheetah Girls 2!

    Kim Possible: Live Action

    Kim Possible: Live Action

Dud duh dih duh! What's the sitch?

This week we delve into the all too familiar world of Kim Possible and her (supposed to to be) bumbling sidekick Ron Stoppable as we watch 2019's Kim Possible DCOM!

Did this DCOM live up to our Disney Channel Original fantasies? Shall we count the ways?

    1. Shego = Hot
    2. Drakken  = certainly evil (but more Doofenschmirtz than Drakken)
    3. Shego  pressons on black gloves = ICONIC
    4. Christy Carlson |Romano cameo of MEH proportions
    5. A seriously obvious STALKER
    6. Wade as Kim's personal assistant *cough* we mean as Kim's digital sidekick
    7. Olympic level unnecessary flips
    8. A potentially culturally appropriative grandma

Ok that last one was definitely a disclaimer because this one is a true doozy. Find out how we felt about this 2019 film (because maybe we can call it that?) in this week's episode of Disney Deviants!

    The Cheetah Girls

    The Cheetah Girls

It's here. The one we've all been waiting for!

This week we watched the first ever DCOM MUSICAL (and possibly the best one to date?) The Cheetah Girls!

This piece of Disney Channel feminist history exudes growl power and came to us in 2003 by way of Deborah Gregory (author extraordinaire!!!), Alison Taylor (screenplay writer and fellow woman), and Oz Scott (director and...man...well you win some you lose some). Starring early 00s faves Raven Symone (in the same year that That's So Raven premiered!), Adrienne Bailon and Kiely Williams (3LW <3) and Sabrina Bryan!

Find out which host did a Cheetah Girls inspired talent show number, what brilliant and surprising artist was thiiiisss close to being in the original cast, and if the girls have stood the test of time as we discuss this week's movie, The Cheetah Girls!!!
