Haspel has dedicated her adult life to protecting the country, often in far-off, dangerous places, with great distinction. Nevertheless, it seems some on the left want to re-litigate the early years of the post-9/11 world. They want to debate “enhanced interrogation techniques” again, like waterboarding.

Serious people understand that all young intelligence operators will be watching this proceeding, deciding whether the hard choices they are being asked to make right now are going to be subject to show trials years or even decades down the road.

The purpose of God's gifts are 1) to lead to the unity of the body; 2) to lead us to become mature in our walk with the Lord through knowledge of Messiah; 3) to enable people to serve and build up the body; and 4) to glorify God.

Who is Jesus? Do you wonder who this Man was that people that talk about? The apostles were even wondering who He was. They expected a man to come to earth as a King and over throw the Roman Empire. Peter said that Jesus was the Son of the Living God. Peter hit it on the head, Jesus IS the Son of the Living God. He is not a prophet that some people claim today. He is God that was in our form to fellowship with us and to die on a cross just for us. He died a gruesome death, but rose again from the dead. How many prophets do you know, would "take a bullet" for you and then come back to life?
