TikTok is probably best known for dance vids, comedy, skits and all sorts of short, sharp amusing content that can make you smile and lift your spirits.

Did you know however, that there are some awesome creators in the Careers space who are delivering awesome content on TikTok? Well... it's true and this episode of the Dive Into Your Career podcast focuses on "Interesting Careers Mentors on TikTok".

What is this Clubhouse you may ask? It's a new audio only app which at the time of publishing this episode (April 2021) is still in Beta. It is absolutely worth being an early adopter though so if you have an Apple device be sure to check it out and if you're on Android, please know this is a priority on the roadmap and it may be available as early as May 2021.

Clubhouse is the focus on this episode because of its sheer dynamism and potential when it comes to building authentic relationships (networking) and connecting directly , and having a conversation with employers / hiring managers / recruiters etc.

Don't panic and go running for the hills! This is not a checklist of 7 things you must do this Easter, but in acknowledgement that your time is more your own during the holidays (e - it is some clear suggestions on what you could do.

The shout-outs come thick and fast in this episode - in talking about awesome things to do to advance your career in this time. Where are my goal setting sceptics?! Don't look over your shoulder and the person behind you - lol - there's a very good chance that I am talking to you.

If you think that it is safer on your ego, heart and soul NOT to set goals because odds are you won't achieve them, I invite you to step out of your comfort zone and explore a different perspective. This is the episode for you if you can open up to another point of view. 

In "Goal setting sceptics... I am talking to you", Gina Visram (an ever optimistic goal setter!) talks about how even in a climate where a lot feels like it's out of our control, there is still scope to actively get some goals if there are things you want to achieve.

The end is in sight! 2020... the year that so many will be unlikely to forget is nearly over.

The first *Student Spotlight* from the Dive Into Your Career podcast features future doctor Isi The Medic. In Autumn 2020, Isi Ukponzene started on the "Graduate Entry" Medicine programme at Warwick University, a route she is proudly taking after what she describes as 4-failed attempts to become a medical student.

Sometimes, missing the grades for undergraduate medicine can be the end of that journey (even if it's just by one, as in Isi's case) , but this interview will make it clear that determination,  intelligence, resilience and a clear sense of purpose means that there are alternative routes to a career as a doctor.

With details about her cultural background, academic journey, information about work experience - and an addition focused on the importance of diversity, inclusion and ultimately representation in medicine - this is not only an episode that should be listened to but one that should be shared.
