Ep 37 Dr. Jen's Communication Tips #5: Addressing Our Differences
Are we allowing our differences of opinion to divide us, specifically on social media?
Friends, in today's episode, we are tackling this question! And if you know me, you know this is a topic that is close to my heart. As a communicator, I want to help you communicate in such a way that will open doors to more conversations, rather than close them.
It's today's communication tip, I chat through some of the online communication questions you may have. Questions like:
- Should I share my beliefs and viewpoints on social media?
- Are there certain topics that shouldn't be discussed on social media?
- Am I compromising what I believe if I don't share about it on social media?
- How can I walk away from the computer, knowing that what I posted was done in a God-honoring way?
If you have found yourself asking these questions, then I'd like to invite you to listen to today's communication tip! My hope is that my personal examples will encourage you to seek God when it comes to your social media profiles and message.

What Does The Bible Say About Human Traditions, Doctrines And Creeds #3?
This is the third episode that Arnie and Fred discuss what that Bible says about human traditions, doctrines and creeds. We note that these contain false doctrine that the Bible calls heresy, that is propagated by heretics and results in division. The inspired Bible writers told us to reject such traditions that are not found in the Bible. We are to speak where the Bible speaks and be silent where the Bible is silent. We note some of the errors contained in the creeds and what Jesus had to say about the human traditions in His day. We talk about several false doctrines that are common today that are specifically not found in the New Testament. Take about 30 minutes to listen in on our discussion and have your bible handy to verify what is being said.

As we approach weeks away from the 2020 elections this episode is a must listen to everyone no matter your political views.
Have you had enough?
Enough of political extremists and insiders who want to silence and divide us so they can dominate the debate and impose their agendas? Enough of the personal attacks and self-serving spin they use to hide the truth, complicate the system, and keep us on the sidelines?
As a nation, we’ve become increasingly divided and uncivil. But we’ve always had the power to reclaim our government, find common ground, and solve our biggest problems—even if we didn’t know it.
In We the People, Ed Wynn simplifies US politics and reveals what political extremists and insiders don’t want you to know:
· How to get the truth and the facts we need to hold our governments accountable
· How to stop the silencing of moderate voices and end verbal violence
· How to discover practical, unifying solutions to the most important issues we face
We the People. A phrase so important that it’s the first three words of our Constitution. Together, we have the power to restore our government to serve us all—it’s time we use it.

What Does The Bible Say About Forgiveness?
In this episode Arnie and Fred discuss what the Bible says about forgiveness. We begin by noting that all accountable people sin and consequently are in need of forgiveness from God. Sin causes a barrier that separates the sinner from the victim. When forgiveness is granted, reconciliation is then possible between the two parties. We discuss Jesus' parable about the unmerciful servant and its application. We look at passages that indicate that God grants forgiveness to all who obey Him, but note that His forgiveness is conditional. Our individual forgiveness is looked at as well and what Jesus says about that. What attitude are we to have toward those who wrong us? Does God say anything about that? Take about 30 minutes to listen in on our discussion. Have your Bible handy to verify what we say.
