    Murda Beatz has had the game running up for the past few years and the Canadian native is back with his new single “One Shot” featuring L.A.’s own Blxst and the incredible Wale.

    Speaking with Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk of the L.A. Leakers, Murda chops it up about his earliest inspirations to him now having some of the biggest records today. Murda shares that the massive hit “Motorsport” was not only a record an unknown artist initially passed on, but the track is definitely his hardest beat he’s created.

    As “One Shot” serves as a lead single, Murda shares that there’s more in the works as he’s looking toward releasing a possible project. The super-producer also shares that he has at least 50 tracks sitting in the vault that are unreleased but ready to go. Murda goes on to share his dream collab which features Drake, Kanye, West, and Jay-Z, names his Producer Mount Rushmore, and much more.

    Terrace Martin Says Snoop Dogg Is His West Coast Mount Rushmore + Details New 'Drones' Album

    The Grammy-nominated, musician-extraordinaire and the highly sought after Terrace Martin stopped through the Power 106 studios to chop it up with his close friends the L.A. Leakers Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk. Speaking on his current album ‘Drones,’ Martin details why he wanted to tap back into his L.A. roots and dropped several gems on the art of his creativity and the legends and hip-hop icons who have come to influence his sound.

    Martin has lent his production genius to all four of Kendrick Lamar’s studio albums, has developed a close relationship with Snoop Dogg, and so their appearances on his latest ‘Drones’ album is a no-brainer. With the album’s title track as the featured single, which also includes appliances from Ty Dolla Sign and James Fauntleroy, Terrace tells the Leakers that his new project is in response to his need to have his music played on the radio, as his career has taken a more jazz approach.

    During his LIFTOFF appearance, Martin speaks on coming up in Los Angeles and how Snoop Dogg has come to be one of his greatest influences. While the hip-hop Mount Rushmore continues to be a topic of discussion, without any hesitation, Terrace says that Snoop fills all the spots on his West Coast Rushmore list. Martin goes on to share his thoughts about artists he’s currently tapped in with like Smino and IDK, and he also shares his advice to younger artists, and much more.

    Smiley, who comes from Mexican and Haitian descent, speaks on the gratitude he has from his upbringing to finding his own path in music. Having tapped into the music scene a few years ago, back in 2014, the rapper first started recording music with his close group of friends who saw their popularity grow in Canada with Smiley's "Intro" release, which captured the attention of the 6 God, Drake. With Drake in his corner and officially under his OVO label, Smiley speaks on what it was like garnering attention from Drake for the first time, the advice Drizzy has given him, and also what it was like when the CLB artist named him his favorite rapper.

    Smiley goes on to share details on his forthcoming debut album, tapping in with OhGeesy, his favorite Disney Channel shows as a kid, and much more.
