On this week's episode we take a look at some of the headlines from around the interwebs. Writers are on strike, sequels are in the works, folk are following Gunn from Marvel to DC, Pedro continues to be everywhere, and Carrie Fisher goes from being among the stars to having one of her own on the walk of fame. 
Following that we review Dredge, a horror inspired, narrative driven, resource gathering fishing game.  Sisu, a stylish Finnish action romp, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, possibly the best Marvel movie to date.

Dredge is one of 2023's best surprises, a fishing adventure mixed with Lovecraftian horror. Don't worry though: it's not too scary. In fact, Dredge's much more interested in the fishing aspect than you might expect from a game marketed around cosmic terror. Plus, Plante has become obsessed with Octopath Traveler 2. How does someone who dislikes turn-based combat fall in love with this sort of game? And is it recommended for everyone or just people who love RPGs? All that and more on this week's Resties!
