Jator Pierre On How to Heal the Person Causing the Disease Instead of Treating the Disease Itself

Jator Pierre On How to Heal the Person Causing the Disease Instead of Treating the Disease Itself

Brandon Duff and Eugene Trufkin Talk to Jator Pierre on why the health profession is stuck in a symptom management mindset and how to heal the person that’s causing the disease instead of treating the disease itself. If you have a rock stuck in your shoe, common sense would suggest it’s best to take the rock out. A child can even understand this concept. However, today’s “health” professionals would suggest otherwise. They would recommend that you take pain killers and just continue to walk with the rock in your shoe. This is referred to as symptom management. It is the go-to strategy most health professionals (99% of them) and personal trainers live by, making it the primary reason as to why there is rarely ever any lasting change.

James Hunting, West Arkeen/David Lee Roth/Roger Daltrey - Ep. 66

James Hunting, West Arkeen/David Lee Roth/Roger Daltrey - Ep. 66
Our special co-host this episode and making his return to the AFD Show is author and former LA Guns Manager, Mr. Raz Cue. In our "Shotgun News" segment, Raz and Brando discuss the last episode with Alan Niven and GNR kicking off their European tour by covering Velvet Revolver for the first time!

Then joining the conversation is our guest for this episode, veteran bassist James Hunting. James has worked with Eddie Money, David Lee Roth, Roger Daltrey, and many others. For this chat we focus on his work with the late West Arkeen and their band The Outpatience. West co-wrote several songs with Guns N' Roses and would have many of the GNR guys play on his 1996 album, including the last known studio track to have both Axl Rose and Slash on it. James also opens up about losing West; being in the house and finding him unresponsive.

This only scratches the surface of the candid stories that both James Hunting and Raz Cue share on episode 66. Please enjoy and follow/subscribe/leave a review!

    Constantine Maroulis, Adler's Appetite/American Idol - Ep. 62

    Constantine Maroulis, Adler's Appetite/American Idol - Ep. 62
Episode 62 is pretty much 2 shows in 1. We start the show with friend and journalist, Art Tavana. Along with Art, also joining in big GNR memorabilia collector, Tim Troccoli. With host Brando, the 3 guys discuss the news of the Guns N' Roses mega box set, "Locked N' Loaded." We learn that Tim contributed to the new box set and we all give our opinions of the track listing whether it's all worth the high sale price.

About 25 minutes of box set talk (which wasn't enough) we are then joined by singer Constantine Maroulis. Constantine made his name on the 4th season of American Idol and has since found success on Broadway. Not only that, it was recently announced he is the brand new singer of Steven Adler's Appetite. Constantine tells us how the band came to be, his opinion of Adler not being in GNR, what we can expect his partnership with Steven, the Walking Dead, and so so SO much more!

After a fun hour-long conversation with Constantine, the guys need to finish their talk on the box set. Should Steven have been involved in the release? Why was One in a Million left off? Censorship becomes the topic, stemming from Del James reaching out to Art Tavana.

A JAM PACKED episode to say the least. Please subscribe and leave a review!
