SUMMARY
With the recent loss of Burt Reynolds, who died a few days ago and John McCain, who passed away about a week or so before that, I’ve been doing a bunch of thinking about life and death.
I’m finding more QUESTIONS right now, than I am answers, but today we’ll explore both.
In addition, I just can’t get the Tim McGraw song out of my head, Live Like You Were Dying. Great stuff we can learn from that song… and use it to take our lives to the next level. Enjoy!

What the heck is a Fetch Type?
Great question! Hibernate is a very handy framework for removing your need to fully understand SQL, but it will force you to understand things such as joins.
Joining two tables in SQL is the foundation of a relational database, as joins allow you to actually define relationships between tables (objects).
Having said that, relationships are important to understand when talking about fetch types in Hibernate. This is the case because whenever you define a relationship in Hibernate, you’ll also need to define the fetch type. The fetch type essentially decides whether or not to load all of the relationships of a particular object/table as soon as the object/table is initially fetched.

Ok, you've heard it before. "In our church, we're going to be about being missional, and compassionate, and spread the testimony, and be all loving to all the people"... So, that's nice, but... Exactly HOW are you going to do all of that? Pastor Gary said it best.
